i agree with your theory - but in all honesty - i don't know what i'd do if i were presented with the situation. there are some things that are hard to get past mentally. if i knew they had had a sex change before dating them, i probably would have the never 'opened the gate' to sexual realationship possibilities. if i didn't know until after we were dating, i would feel very deceived and it would probably ruin everything. i hate to seem shallow, but i just don't think i could mentally get over it. but who knows.... i've never been in the situation, and probably never will. i know the heart can do strange things to the mind.

Yup.... here. They don't just fly around though - they fly right into you - like they can't help it. They'll fly into your car if your window is down. But they don't bite - they just make an annoying noise. I don't mind them. I haven't seen them in 17 yrs, and won't see them again for 17 more.

oh no! ro! that sucks! i'm so sorry sweetie. i can imagine your disappointment with all those awesome plans. the good news is that it is just an ankle and as someone else said, depending on the break, it's usually better than a really bad sprain. you will be back in the air before you even know it girly - and you will not miss the whole summer of fun. besides, there is always next year, and the year after, and the year after.

hey man - i'll stay at home no problem! keep up with the house - do some home projects - make some awesome dinners. but somehow, i don't think my man wants to get stuck with the bill for all the expensive things i buy myself. you know... a nice car (which we use to do my share of the driving to the dz), a new canopy, a new container, hundreds of dollars in jump tickets every month. i somehow thinks he also appreciates the $1700 or so i spend a month on my half of the mortgage and bills and food. but hey, if he'll cover all that, sure, i'll do my part to save the environment and quite my job.

ok - will keep you in mind then. drakeshelby - 6 months for a helmet - wow! i must say, i do find that things are usually worth the wait. the hardest was waiting for my new wings last year. it was on time - but still took like 9 or 10 weeks.

good! follow up and keep an eye on him to make sure something is done. i've heard some horrible animal abuse tales. it makes me sick. i'm totally disgusted by what people can get away with when it comes to animal cruelty.

ha! well - i'm expecting another 2 months until i get my firefly suit. i ordered it the same time i ordered my canopy (direct from firefly). i knew i'd be in for a LOOOONG wait - but i like sherry's work.

I ordered my new, custom, Sabre2 through Square1 (and finally 'met' dgskydive and diablopilot). The wait time quoted by them, and by Annabelle at PD, was 10 weeks. Ok - I am used to waiting for Skydiving stuff. I marked the calendar for June 24. Yesterday, I get a box from Square1. Low and behold, it's my new canopy more than 3 weeks early!!!

hahahahaha!!! Yup - they are everywhere in Northern Virginia. I remember 17 years ago, when I first saw them. We had moved here from NY and had never heard of them. At least they don't bite - but they are very annoying. Always sounds like there is a flying saucer outside your car / house / office.
