:11:2 11 jumps (had to leave early Sunday). Flew on my belly to spell out "U" "S" "A" in Red White and Blue on the 4th. We did a RW&B tracking dive too. 1st Topless Jump (Topless Tracking dive I arranged for my boyfriend with me and 3 other girls). New locations "explored" by my boyfriend and I for the 1st time. Lots of fun freeflying!

Hey - just drive a little furthur up to VA. Friday's going to be real nice in Louisa (Skydive Virginia). We'll be jumping ($16 jumps) and cooking out. Lots of fireworks too! You can hit NC on the way BACK to FL.

You'd think this would work - but in our old office, we all shared a bathroom. Someone was always forgetting to flush the toilet (we all knew it was my boss). So - I put up a big sign on the door that read "Please be sure to flush the toilet before exiting the bathroom". You could not miss it. However, nothing changed. -
did you HAVE to tell her what it meant? i have been thinking about gettina little head down silhouette right below my waist line - "heading down" for some fun. gonna try it out with some ink first and see what the boyfriend (a freeflyer - so you'd think he'd like it) thinks. if i get it - i'll post it.

Well, duh. hahaha. Thanks I actually have done that, but some just don't care. So what I've started doing is sneaking up on / barging in on them. See if that works. Theres only 2 people that are really bad about it. I just wanted to know if other people out there thought this was just a little rude or not. -

Just wondering because at work, I have a private office. I usually keep the door closed. My assistant and one of my bosses, always knock before entering - which I appreciate. But the other people in the office just march right on it (which sometimes scares the crap out of me when all is quiet and I'm not expecting it). It drives me f-ing crazy - so just wondering how many other people out there think it's ok to just barge into anyone's office / room anytime. Thanks. -

does anyone NOT get nervous when they jump?

i was told that the nervousness would fade after about 50 jumps. that ended up being true. the only times i get nervous are when it's a new thing (new DZ, new plane, dive with new person, new gear...) or if i haven't jumped in a few weekends. there is always a slight nervous anxiety - but i don't want that to ever fade. i finally trust my judgement in what i'm doing (at my lower level) and i don't try anything i don't feel good about or ready for. know your limits and know when to push them or when to hold back. just my opinion. -
gonna have to agree. set a new record for a 14 hour period. then you can post it on dz.com to see if anyone can / has beaten it. (the record - beaten the record).

gonna throw my vote in for freakous. he's a total pain in the ass sometimes - but almost ALWAYS good for a laugh - whether he means to be or not. "sheeeeeeep!"

very cool. mine are three japanese symbols. the middle one - above my belly button is for "balance". the one to the left of my belly button is "hate" and the one to the right is "love". trying to find the balance of love and hate in life. i think it's a struggle many people have.

When I got 3 Japanese characters tattooed on me a few years ago - I got a book on Japanese characters first. I studied many of the different characters and their meanings. There were several different characters for one word, sometimes - but each had a different meaning. I selected the ones that I wanted.
