  1. Thanks Skymama, I e-mailed the pro shop and got an instant reply and I can get same-day service for $135 hr. So as long as I can sort out an introductory membership with the USPA at the ranch' I should be jumping there on the arvo of the 18th... Now to find the tardis to deliver me to Skydive New England for High Alti jumps on the 20th.....You rock, thanks 4 the help so far. Now just keep praying for a quick turnaround at Sunpath. Aren't the exchange rates weird. For a 13,500 ft jump in Australia you pay $40 as opposed to $US20 in some spots. Yet rigging here is $80 p/hr as opposed to $135. So that would be 6 US jumps to 2 Aussie. for an hrs rigging.... Let the apprenticeship begin!!
  2. I have actually tried twice to e-mail them via their website but have received no replies. Not sure what the go is. I will try and phone tomorrow. Thanks for the welcome. I am hoping to spend a bit of time at The Ranch, but I think the lure of 21,000 ft and Summer Solstice will drag me away initially. However, it would be great to get a couple in during daylight hours and then a couple that night, if I can, as my first welcome to overseas jumping and hopefully still get to New England in time on the 20th. I have an Australian C license, 150 jumps and 1 hop and pop night jump. Do I just need a temporary USPA membership? Thanks for your speedy response, it is the first reply I have had from several enquiries so far from both dropzones and manufacturers alike so far. Makes the idea of planning an itinerary a bit hard...15 days to go!!!!!
  3. Gday guys, my name is Luke and I am an up and coming jumper from Australia, looking to come over on 18th June to New York. Pretty loose plans at the moment, but am keen for night jumps at the ranch on 19th AND High Altitudes at New England on the 20th, if I can get there. Will be over there for 6 weeks and trying to get as many jumps in as I can, as cheaply as possible, whilst still being able to see a bit during my short stay. Anybody road-tripping between any boogies and/or events keen to help out with some car pooling. Also wondering if there are any riggers at The Ranch, who could re-assemble my rig on the18th/19th would be fantastic as I am still hoping to get my container repaired ( lateral strap) before my arrival. Would be most grateful for any assistance or advice on achieving as many jumps as possible on my limited funds....Look forward to meeting a lot of new mates, and trying to evolve.... Blue Skies to everyone!!!
