Yup we will have apacker on site, and I think I can safely say that there will be alcohol for consumption after the days events. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups" -
One of my instructors told me about it. Said it was a great resource for all things skydiving. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

Way to go and hang in there. Remember to always ask questions and seek lots of help and advise. Focus and listen to your instructor in the air. My first Free fall was a rolling tumbling mess until I remembered my training. Once I focused on my arch and body position I got stable and finished the dive. I was pumped. I understand the ankle. I only wish mine was twisted. I'm out for at least 8-12 weeks. But I'll be at the dz talking things up and having a good time anyway. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

Wow Mother sorry to here about this. For the short 1 1/2 years I have been in the sport I have found nothing but friendly fun people. Don't let a few bad examples spoil your opinion of the rest. Hang in there and they'll come around to you. This sport brought me out of my shell... "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

Are these not the cutest future skydivers you have ever seen? Ryan already says he is going to jump out of airplanes like grandpa and daddy. He want to jump with grandpa first . he is a smart child too. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

I got in to jumping after my last divorce. (Don't ask how many) I had this idea in the back of my mind since I was a kid. So now here I am walking out of the court house looking for something to do????? Signed up for my first jump class along with both of my sons. (The first Ex was really happy about that) Took my class and jumped. By the time I made my landing I was already contemplating my next jump. Now I am licensed and have 2 rigs. No wife (can't afford it) So when do we jump next. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

I don't know Mike and have never jumped his plane. I have heard the story and have this to say. Only Mike and God know if he is guilty. The court found him not guilty. It is time to let it go. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

Has anyone ever jumped at Seven Hills in Wisconsin?
Just_Chute_me replied to WI-Fly's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Absolutely on that jump....I'll spring for beer after. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups" -
I just read Skymama's thread about her son's first Tandem. It is so cool that she got to jump with him. I took my first IAD jump course with both of my son's. (Much to my ex's dismay ) It was a great experience. We have since only jumped together one other time. I have money they don't. It is an incredible experience and something that we will always share. I attached a picture of us together. Each of us has one along with our first jump picture. What fat girl? If your fat so am I "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups" -
Me come on to someone, you must have me confused with someone else. Of course the good character part you nailed. No need to feel bad for me. It is what it is. I would not be skydiving had it not happened this way. Now as for the kilt or indian costume. I know you have me confused with someone else. Although a kilt may not be to bad....

As a member of Seven Hills and having completed my student training there last fall I can tell you exactly how much I spent to get my A lic. I did it in 34 jumps (I'm not a prodigy ) and spent $1820 to do it. I was provided instruction and coaching every step of the way and it was great. I am now a club member (we pay dues) we recently voted to raise rates to help us cover costs of running the DZ. (We are non-profit) We have 2 182s to maintain as well as a club house and gear. Currently a First Jump course is $150 with a special for April and May classes of $99. After you complete your first class is is $45 for each jump up to 10 sec delays. THe cost then goes to $55 for each jump to 45sec. The cost includes a gear and instructor time. As a new jumper I would not want it any other way. I may be biased but I think Seven Hills instructors have a great attitude and want to see their students succeed. Just my 2.38 cents (inflation) "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

New Jumper here... anyone else from Wisconsin?
Just_Chute_me replied to JumpinJules's topic in Introductions and Greets
Hi all and welcome.....I live in Cottage Grove and jump out of Seven Hills regularly, or as regular as the weather allows. I finished my student status last fall and 6 jumps away from my B license. Wifly and jules if you get to Seven Hills I will no doubt be there.....Say hello "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups" -
This has been fun reading but I figure I'll jump in and throw my 5 cents in (inflation). Having been married and divorced twice (why...lets not go there) I was told by several women friends when I was suffering a serious dating shortage that if you have a look like your desparate to date, women shut you down before you get past "hello". So maybe it is not that women appear unapproachable, but some men just look like they should not approach. When I am at the DZ I talk to everyone with no thought of hitting on anyone, I save that for after the days jumps and we are sitting around having a few adult beverages. Of course if a woman wants to approach me I'm all over that. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

Go with Madison, in addition to a great school (I work there) Madison has a wide variety of things to offer. If you want to jump check out sevenhillsskydivers.org. We are 15 minutes from Madison. We have two C182s and we jump year round. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"
