    I highly recommend SharePod. That's the one I was talking about that runs from the ipod. Although I've never had a problem deleting a bunch of songs off of my ipod using iTunes.     You aren't forced to use iTunes. There are several other programs that will tranfer mp3's to an iPod. There's even one that can be run completely from the iPod, so that nothing has to be installed on the computer. iPods don't suck they just have their quirks like every other electronic gadget out there.     yeah that's the problem i downloaded one of the programs i found on google and the quality after the conversion just sucked. thant's why I was wondering if anyone had a program that worked for them. thanks anyway That's gonna happen with anything, dude...you're converting from one lossy format to another.... your best bet is going to be to pull the files either as .wma or mp3.....just my (admittedly) inexperienced opinion... Actually your best bet is to find someone who has the cd that you want (I mean BUY the cd of course ) and then rip it into your preferred quality settings. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!"     Too thin is unhealthy too. But I think that when most people say this to someone, what they're really saying is "I wish I had the metabolism that you do". This is probably why no one sees anything wrong with saying "You need to eat more" it's usually intended as a hidden compliment. On the other hand, some people are too thin and really do need to eat more. If you're so thin that you look unhealthy or emaciated, then you need to eat more. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!"     You're suck a lame-O, you did all that crap and didn't even get an iPod photo. The free ipod referral program I did was much simpler and easier than yours: All I had to do was referral 379 different dollars to this one company, and they sent me, completely free of charge, a brand new 60GB ipod photo!!     That's a valid point, but I bought my pc105 from them and had zero problems with ordering it. They sent me exactly what I ordered and charged me what they said they would, so I am more than happy with my "personal" experience with them. Just ordered my 60gb ipod photo from them, btw.     I'm also looking into getting an Ipod so I thought I'd share this: http://www.butterflyphoto.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=IPOD60GB# $379 with free shipping for the 60gb photo version. Seems like a helluva good deal to me. Plus the new photo ipods have a 15 hour battery life instead of the 12 hours for the 20gb version. Course they're a little bit bigger, but so what. I want to convert my cd collection to digital so I can take it with me, and this is quickly becoming the way I think I want to do it. The photo option looks a little gimmicky, but the color screen looks sweet. Drunkmonkey: Use that $300 to get a new ipod instead of your friend's used one.
