There were many AFP students last summer who came from all over the US. The farthest was from New York. Your argument of getting to know the locals is an odd priority in my opinion when examining the types of training you'll be receiving.

Melissa and Steve Curtis's wife (Aimee?) both had something broken. An ankle and a heel, were in the record successfully. Brian Buckland and Jason Peters are selling DVDs and photos of it. They're gonna get them on the net soon....

Now, I work in Manifest and get a lot of phone calls every day. The BEST one by far was someone who called wanting to know the price of the "webcamera on their head". I asked, "you mean the price if the video"? "Nono, the webcams. I've seen it on your webpage. The ones that we can wear in freefall so we can see the ground". Then INSISTED that she's seen it on our webpage! It was advertised there! It took a lot of explaining to get her to understand that no, we don't jump with webcams and that what she saw were experienced fun jumpers with cameras on their heads, that webcams are not used in freefall :) and that the internet wouldn't work from 13k.

Nope- I wish. Was there a few weeks ago and the locals said there was one, just not in Nassau. They didn't say where.

Skydive Chicago will give you 10 free jumps for every 10 tandems you bring in! Just make the reservations under your name and collect the deposits.

Not bad at all, barely felt it. But I'd wait until after skydiving season because all the movment/rig may keep it irriated for a longer amount of time- slowing the healing process.

Seriously, SDC IS THE BEST and have instructors very very willing to help you on your jump. I reccomend asking for David E who manages the TMs and he will be happy to help! I look forward to meeting you there- I'm one of the Manifest girls so I'll look for you! -Tory ps We drink Corona :)
