  5. Well not sure how this is relevant to this forum, but I figured I would post a few photos I took this weekend. I didn't jump but I did attened "Music Midtown" in Atlanta. 120 bands, 7 stages, 3 days n nights, 300,000+ people (299,990 were drunk I think) This first pic is the view from the photo pit just before Garbage took the stage.   6. Hey I have simple, yet perhaps effective idea. Though as we have obviously established we should all be responsible for remembering and doing gear checks why not a lil help? I think just a simple little sign saying "Gear Checks?" over or on the dz door as you leave to walk to the plane would help to remind and encourage them. I also think perhaps even a lil bumper sticker in the plane posted somewhere conspicuous might be nice. I think I'll make up a t-shirt that says ..... "Ask me how I can save your life for a kiss?" as a way to meet the women at WFFC heehee kwak Stupidity is a crime.
  7. Ugggggh free unless things have changed 17 yr olds are still staffing our military. I would also add to the argument that 17 yr olds are prosecuted as adults in some states, yet not given legal "benefits" as an adult until 18. Now that's just plain FUCKED! kwak Stupidity is a crime.

    Weekend Numbers

    5/4:1:0 Well the first set of numbers may need explanation, I attended another of the now famous "partys" I go to on Saturady night. Let's just say the opportunities were abundant, sorry guys no pics (yet)! The numbers would be humps/women :jumps:beer. As for jumps we had the CASA boogie this weekend, managed to get 2 loads up on Friday, 1 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday, clouds and wind screwed us. I was walking out the door at about 7pm today and they were talking of the winds dying and trying to get one load up. I was unsure of winds, but convinced by an instructor who knows me well that I was capable of handling it. 2 minutes before take off they issued a tornado warning for about 15 miles down the road! They pulled students off the load and the rest of us went. We had clear skies around us, but the winds were kickin at 25 knots @ 2k!! I was told that I could/should consider riding the plane down, my friggin stomach was in my throat. I was the only one on the load w/ less than 100 jumps. Another discussion with an instructor who knows me and my abilitys well and he left it up to me to decide saying that he had confidence in me that I could handle it. Well to shorten the story I'm a skydiver NOT a plane rider! It was a thoroughly thought out decision though. The winds on the ground calmed dramatically, but at 2k or so they were still howling (yes i was flying freakin backwards!). I made it back just fine without gettin downwind and landed on target standin up. I had quite the cheer from the crowd, they were worried about me. What should have been a 10 jump weekend flopped, but I feel great and have no regrets, ain't life great? kwak Stupidity is a crime.

    ASC tomorrow

  11. I was just noticing that he was sold out (as always) here in ATL for the June 29th, ;-( That makes 7 yrs in a row i wanted to see hima nd waited too late for tix. Funny story bout him though, he went to USM (univ. of Southern Mississippi) around the same time as my mom. She recalls that he used to sit on the steps of class buildings n such and play his guitar and people thought he was some kinda nut. Then he got popular and starting playing small bars around town. The first time she went to go see him she and her date had just walked in the door and taken their coats off and when somebody stated shootin up the place and all hell broke loose. So she didn't get to see him that night or since. kwak Stupidity is a crime.
  12. My $.02, there are currently water ski races that take place in offshore bluewater conditions were slalom skiers reach speeds in excess of 90mph. There have been fatalities from falls,but many falls are survived with borken bones or less. I definately give my vote for the water landing in 4 years or less. kwak Stupidity is a crime.

    Hunh???? What's this about a Duck for sale? I may be cheap, even sleazy, but not REALLY for sale. OK well I guess it depends on what were talking about here, like I might take a new rig or something like that ;-) HELL YEAH I will be there, solo as of now with the capmer in tow, it sleeps like 6 so lemme know if anyone needs shelter!! kwak Stupidity is a crime.
  16. Dayum That SUX, I have been in a bit of paon myself lately and the Vics are nice on occasion. I cracked a rib skiing in CO a few weeks back. I think I am gonna put of jumpin for one more week. On September 11th, a Budweiser employee was making a delivery to a convenience store in a California town named McFarland. He knew of the tragedy that had occurred in New York when he entered the business to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval and suppport of this treacherous attack. Budweiser employee went to his truck, called his boss and told him of the very upsetting event! He didn't feel he could be in that store with those horrible people. His boss asked him, "Do you think you could go in there long enough to pull every Budweiser product and item our beverage company sells there? We'll never deliver to them again." The employee walked in, proceeded to pull every single product his beverage company provided and left with an incredible grin on his face. He told them never to bother to call for a delivery again. Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice for that community. Just letting you know how Kern County handled this situation!! And now the rest of the story: It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him. Pepsi called his boss who told him to pull all Pepsi products as well!! That would include Frito Lay, etc. Furthermore, word spread and all vendors followed suit! At last report, the store was closed indefinitely. Good old American Passive-Agressive Ass Whoopin'!     Useful math... Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants over 100%. How about achieving 103%? Here's a little math that might prove helpful. What makes life 100%?   23. Diva n Gale, Yes I did bleach my hair before dying it as I have brown hair to start with. I used the only thing I could find that resembled a true red on the box, "Clairol Extreme Color FX" I think? I redyed tonight with the leftover red. It was not the type of dye you had to mix so I had lots leftover. It came out a little better but not quite what i wanted still. kwak Stupidity is a crime.

Yeah ain't it funny, I thought that when any hopes of a career in modeling were dashed at an early age (perhaps b4 birth!) that I no longer had to worry about my looks helpin me keep or get a job. I had Loooooooong hair once and did the cut to get a job trick, it was time for it to go, but was still tough to swallow. I am gald I will never be in that position again. I guess as far as hair goes it's cheaper than a new Tatt! kwak Stupidity is a crime.
