Actually the flood can't answer anything for the christian side. The flood never happened. Said by someone who, like everyone else has proof? But back to what I said. If you are Christian and you believe in the flood, question is answered.

To illustrate a point maybe? You shouldn't advertise what you don't have. Why is there smoke coming out of my irony-o-meter? How can a fruit tree advertise what it dosn't have when it's just trying to grow? All I come away with is that whoever wrote that story to illustrate a point didn't take into account that Jesus came off looking like he had a temper problem.

Science, Religion...neither one really knows what it's talking about when it comes to the origin of man. Science at least makes a case other than "you just gotta believe it cuz I and some other Christian people said so". Evolution?...to some extent definately. A directed and intentional creation of some kind?...that's possible too...look at what we're doing with our limited knowledge of cloning and genetic therapies at this late date. As old as the universe is, why wouldn't there be some kind of intelligence/s capable of doing the same on a larger scale?Not to say it's the Christian God, but a kind of force or intelligence. I'm not implying aliens, because they must have had a start somewhere too if they exist. when it comes to speculation or blind faith on our origins it's usually the least informed out of a group that protests the loudest, and no one knows much more than the other camp. And telling people to just have faith dosn't cut it. There's no doubt we got a start somewhere. I happen not to believe that with our intelligence and the order you find in plants much less in the human body that we came out of sludge through random evolutionary mutations, that somehow worked towards order rather than the way things left unattended normally end up namely messed up. By the same token, I don't think we came from Adam and Eve exclusively. It would be silly on a Christian's part to believe that just because something is not mentioned in the bible, that it can therefore not be true. No one is likely to ever know for sure, so I guess what I'm trying to say is fogedaboudit. There's too much to think about and all you're ever going to do most likely is go in circles. Some people want to be told what to believe, others want proof, and the rest just want something that makes sense. You might get to the point where you think you have it figured out, but you probably don't.

Why can't there be dinosaurs and a creator? Where does it come from that one invalidates the other? but yeah, maybe god got bored and decided to sprinkle some fossils around to confuse all the people he told they didn't exist. There's the story that the dinosaurs all died in the flood, along with all the other creatures people were breeding recreationally in Noah's time which should answer on the Christian side at least what the deal is with dinosaurs.

Jesus loves you but shriveled up the little baby tree that couldn't produce fruit before it's time when he outstretched his hand at lunchtime. Explain that one.

The solution is simple. Clone the bear and give one each to Italy and One to Germany on condition they provide it with a nice habitat, and let the dead bear rest in peace wherever it was shot.

I love all of it. It's no doubt a special moment when my main opens. And I must say I get a kick out of the landings. That sensation of making the parachute rise and float, then you touch down like an angel - the times I'm not being run into the mud.

Gun bans have no effect on the murder rate because the kind of people who will murder someone else are not the kind of people who are going to obey the law and not buy a gun. The Gun Ban simply makes it illegal for good citizens to buy a gun for self defense against the criminals who have other channels to buy their guns through. Then again, if someone has murder on the mind it's just as easy to go get a knife.

Yep, it was a crazy day. I was supposed to have a packing class before returning home, but all the packers were busy and another jumper took me under his wing to show me how he packs. One thing that scared me was that after I had done my first pack job the packer told me to put it up on the shelf. If something happened to the person who jumped it, they would let me know(said jokingly). I knew I did a good job because I had watched their video a couple times, read a manual twice over and saw people packing all week, but still the packer didn't know that. But yeah, they were busy. Luckily one of the tandems survived a malfunction in fact(not my packjob).

Why - do you have something against that? Is that WRONG? Not at all, but rigger orientation isn't why I posted my question. I just want to know how much money do riggers pull in on the weekends. Simple.

Ok, so at the dropzone I was training at I overheard one of the riggers say she had packed 60 rigs(These were tandem rigs) that day. How much money does that translate to? and how much can a rigger expect to make on an average weekend?
