we do have s/l and tandem progression.. but i think a huge majority of jumpers at our dz go the s/l.. since I went through tandem progression six months ago.. i can think of two people? is that right guys? that have done it..me, Christian, Clark.. did Keith & Clay do s/l? Hey what ever happended to that one girl.. can't remmber her name.. red hair.. Dad was a pilot.. i haven't seen her in awhile. I see pros and cons to both ways.. as a personal preference.. I liked the Tandem progression. that first hop n pop on Jump 18 spooked mea little.. not sure if it was the plane or the exit altitude..Going from the King Air at 14K to the Cessna at 4K was slightly differnt.. We were taught to pull at 6k.. Now.. in this cold crappy weather.. praise to the hop n pops !! Its all good!! Wishing for Blue skies in St. Louis.... Tina

It been pretty damn cold here.. but i'm with Joe.. I don't think it can be tooo cold to not jump at all. Even when its like 30 on the ground and like 10 at 14K. for me its just that sudden shock of getting out of the plane that kills me.. once in freefall, i forget about the 120mph windchill... under canopy is the BITCH..now that is when my hands ache.. Its all about the layers.. Long underwear.. T shirt.. shorts.. Turtleneck.. sweatshirt and jumpsuit.. and whatever you do.. don't forget the gloves.. one could say i look like the abominal snowman.. LOL.. its alllll good!! Blue Skies & Florida weather in a week!! Tina

Well today was the best rainy day of my life!!... I did it.. purchased my first rig.. Omega210 with Tempo210 reserve & Cypres. its in a dolphin container that I'm ditching as soon as my NEW WINGS container gets here!!! I really wouldn't mind the container that bad but its all velcro and the previous owner felt the need to freehand a dolphin on the flap with fabric paint.. ewwwww... lol Also ordered my jumpsuit today! The container is charcoal with Red & Yellow Tye Dye.. I can't wait till it gets here.. Would one be considered crazy if the seat buckled it in on the ride home .. just kidding.. excited .. can you tell!!!. I'm trying to learn to propack.. did a few times today at the DZ and about 5 more tonite.. packing is not so bad when its your own gear.!! Ok.. now for the questions.. has anyone jumped an Omega before? I have not yet jumped it.. but done some research on it.. Its a 7cell... have heard no bad stories yet.. Ok.. so i'm a little late on the post.. Tatoo pain was nothin.. I've had wayyyy more pain on the last 10 feet of landings.. LOL.. how do you like it.. My tip would be KEEP neosporin on it at ALL times.. only keep it covered like the first day.. and Do NOT tan or lay out without covering it.. it will fade..
