Keith.. I still laugh every time i see the look on your face when Anne came crashing in.. I have never had an actual conversation in frree fall.. and that was halirous!! For those of you who don't know.. we were doing a three way i think..I don't even remeber what happend.. but I was base & Keith was diving out.. We pulled off the exit beautifully.. docked and waited for Anne to come in.. And she made a Grand Enterance!! Crashed right on top of us.. LMAO!!!.. Keith's goggles flew up and he looked right at me and said " who the &*^% was that.. I said " uhhh.. that would have been Anne) then I laughed the rest of the way to 4500.. that was a GREAT jump!! Thanks guys.. you'll have to try this train exit with me & Anne.. its good for a altitude of laughs also!! See you this weekend. Peace, Love & Skydivng.. Tina

Is that like the theory of the dictionary.. if you ask somebody how to spell a word.. they'll tell you to look it up. BUT how are you supposed to look it up if you can't spell it? Thoughts to Ponder. Peace, Love & Skydiving... Tina

I think you have the wrong idea here.. I have made 70 jumps in 6 months and have recently been introduced to DZ.com.. I LOVE IT.. Those who post here do so to LEARN more from others..I'm not gonna lie to ya.. with 70 jumps there is no hook turns or swoops for me.. I'm happy to just land on my damn feet still, but hey, I can go headsdown and have cranked some points... BUT AGAIN.. thats not what its all about.. I can speak for myself.. I have not MISSED one single weekend at the DZ except for a two week cruise .. in the past SIX months.. so I bear through the Monday-Friday part of life here DZ.com.. afterwork.. and come Sat. morning.. I'm on the First Load of the Day.. I try to get in at least 6 jumps a weekend.. How many jumps do you have? Back in your early WUFFO days didn't you want to absorb all the skydiving info that you could? or would you be a skygod?? Peace, love & Skydiving... Tina

Tell me about shitty weather. Anne & I drove to Quantum on Friday only to have discourging clouds at 2K.... and then the rain started. Went to Archway Sat. only to talk about how SHITTY the weather was and eat some cheesy poos (with a damn mouse humping a bull on the package).. did the Beer thing Sat night and waited until 1p.m. sunday before the first load went up.. I was so excited to get altitude, it didn't even bother me that the winds were high, we had a bad spot and i ended up walking what seemed like miles back to the airport. But.. it ended up to be allllll good.. I got in 4 great jumps.. ok three great jumps and one crazy jump :-P Peace, Love & Skydiving... Tina

I'm new to the sport.. jumping now for 5 months and have 67 skydives,, just 2 min shy of 1 hr accumlated freefall time (:-) Anyway.. decision altitude for me is 2k.. I ususally pull around 3800 and under canopy by 3k. I'd give it 1000ft to work on the problem then i'm choppin.. not worth the aggravation of fighting it, especially on a first reserve ride, maybe a little more experience would give me more working time but for now i'll stick to what i feel safe at. Peace, Love, & Skydiving ~~ Tina

Ahhh.. water training..brrrrr. that was cold.. I actaully got that outta the way before i got my A.. We were supposed to have it in a heated pool, but how consindental... the HEATED pool was closed for the winter so we had to jump our asses into the freezing lake..... brrrrrr.. Glad that is outta the way!

Hey... did you have insurance coverage at all? Did the catch the guy that hit you? did he have insurance? If he not not have insurance but you did, your "uninsured motorist" coverage should do the trick.. Call an attorney.. you'd be surprised what they might tell you.. P.S. DO NOT SELL YOUR RIG!!!!... :-) Smile.. It will get better. Peace, Love & Skydiving.. Tina

How exactly did you find the same helmet? There's about 10 different blue ones. Did you just rig the chin strap so no other students could make it tighter? For those of you who don't know Joe, he amazes me. His chin strap is danglin about two inches and his helmet never falls off. My luck is never that good with goggles & helmets.! As far as superstitions, I consider my tweety tatoo to be my one piece of luck for those knee slide landings. Blue skies~ Tina

I'm the friend that has 60+ jumps and is just now packing on a regular basis.(I'm still renting gear) I have explained it before.. but here's how I feel about it.. I just was NOT comfortable packing yet. The packing class wasn't offered until my 35th jump.. I packed about 5 times that day step by step.. no whole one time packs.. came back the next weekend and packed again, except nobody was around, except for quick questions. I would have been more confident to have those next 5 pack jobs assisted during the whole pack. When you first start packing, you don't realize that everything doesn't have to be perfect. Then to have someone different every single time give you "new tips", nothing was feeling reassuring. Finally, last weekend i just did it from what i knew. it opened fine.. and yes.. i packed all 7 jumps last weekend. and i will continue to pack. I agree. everyone should know how to di it, but I also don't think you should just do anysort of a shitty pack job becuase your feeling pressured. I'm the one who jumps it, and If I don't feel confident, that's what should matter. It does not effect a single other person there (other than the packer) if I didn't pack.I'm safe in the jump and that is most important. And.. please.. be patient. we APPRECIATE THE PACKERS!!! I KNOW I DO!!!
