  1. Cool but I'll give it 0 point (you didn't drag water) nice one AM67
  2. Well I took Brian Germain two times (phd) and Brian Vecher once (BA and MBA) and I'll remmende to anyone and will do it again. But it you (d123) are talking about Jo with 800 jumps that ask for $25 p/p And he say to you i"ll teach you to fly a canopy , yes he can very Nice land and swoop But is he a good teacher !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just my two cents Amir AM67
  3. If I read it correct he was going about 90mph until 150ft (50m) , is it possibale to get out of it Vertical speed in that distance ?? Amir AM67
  4. Good Q that I would like to get answer too. Let say we go with 2 jumper hi hop flying side by side one on 170@1.0 en second 135@1.0 .what is the speed sink rate do 180 hom much hight is lost and so on. At one point they are the same or or 170sqf has to put some weight let say @1.2 and test again. Is that been tested and if where I can read about it. *** ps*** 8 years in the sport 550 jump alot of blaa, blaa, bla and never answer to simple question Please Amir AM67
  5. finally a good answer. the only thing I can add is that with down wind, turbelent/wind sheer will have will result in unpleasent fall ( let say you land against 10 mph wind and at the end turbelnt/ gust (15mph for one second) then insted of 2 steps you make one and stop(land). when douwnwind the same condition you will be drop down on the ground without chance to run it out AM67
  6. just go to PD PD stocklist sport canopies pick type canopy and you can see what standaard color at that moment are for sell [url] http://www.performancedesigns.com/store_stockmain.asp AM67
  7. Yes It is Ducth regulation I don't have them with me so I'll post them another time . but for me in short after 400 jumps I can go to category 4 which I don't see any canopy that I really like to jump as long as my wingload is not more then 1.5 and no canopy smaller then 135ft2 Yes we have a lot of rules here Are there less skydivers dead then in the US maybe, but the number of jump in the Netherlands is way less then in the US ( I think somewhere in 100,000 per year may be with one fatality. maybe someone in the US knows how many jump are made there) * ps in my club PCMN we make ± 5,500 jumps / year * in Eloy holidayboogie 2003 we made 2,000 per day both friday and saturday AM67
  8. I though 90kl 198lb + 20 gear = 218 / 150 = 1.45 I guess I lost some weight but it still nice to see that some people care AM67
  9. thank's for all the reply I had the same idea that the Sabre-2 will be my best option at this time Amir AM67
  10. I Like to land on front riser and dont like to start low the Vengeance xf-2 katana will all be on the list but that will take another 250 jump at least AM67
  11. What would be longer recover arc canopy then Sabre-2 keep in mind that with the ruls down here I can't jump canopy's in level 5 and the one in level 4 look to my that they all have shorter arc then the Sabre-2 Advice anyone (ps after 35j on manta,15j on Sabre1 then 200j on Vengeance 170 then Sabre-2 170 for the last 200) So now I'm looking for another canopy 150ft and the my main criteria is long recovery arc (at least as Sabre-2 What other option are there??? Amir AM67
  12. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2617263101051108814 is he going moving backword ?? the looping?? AM67
  13. How about the Netherlands I can't wait See you in June AM67
  14. A lot of fun canopy the only trick that I can recomend is go for the rear riser ( left or right ) after opening and if the canopy dive to one side just pull the oposite riser and you are fine p.s. if you on you'r back spining chop chop it's not a Sabre-2 and my was 170@1.4 AM67
  15. Sorry I didn't take the time to read all the reply, But I thougth the quistion was, Is my wingload gonna kill me? well. yes. and if you jump the Pilot also yes . I think Manta 288 can kill you if you turn low. (but what do I know I got 6 years ago Vengeance 170 @ 1.4 with 50 jump) So take care listen to people you trust and do what you feel comfertable with AM67
