Between gulf wars, Iraq has been funding terrorist groups that would go after us. The Navy sent many tomahawks to various terrorist camps during this period of time. You may have seen it in some of the news. A tamahawk strike here, tamahawk strike there. . . probably wasn't too important then. He has threatened us many times. He was persuing WMD's and had the program going till we invaded. Too scary for us. We found hundreds of tons of proof. We couldn't move it till Iraq was safe enough else the convoys would have been attacked and poisoned a huge swath of communities. It may have been on the news. The Israelis highly respect their dead, and pay homage to them upon their return. The Muslim terrorists highly respect people who kill Jews, and celebrate their return so they can kill some more. In other words, the Israelis celebrate life and respect the dead, and the Muslim terrorists celebrate murderers and don't respect life. It's a horrible trade for the Israelis. Drug use isn't a small problem and the way to deal with it is prevention and treatment. Prevention meaning removing the social conditions from which it arises and treatment meaning treating it medically and not criminally. Are you serious? Fighting the drug production, distribution, and use attacks human rights. From a purist libertarian view, that may be. But I don't think you'll agree with that point of view given the rival cartels that are killing scores of innocent people just over the Mexican border. Or, the dozens of kidnappings in Laredo, TX by the same cartels. Fighting the production and distribution of drugs preserves the rights of others that would be the victims of the trade. No it doesn't. It gives you a pretext for stifling economic and social development in the countries you want to exploit.
