    So, why haven't the bobbies caught all those chavs running the streets with the rifles and shotguns, since the handgun ban? Oh, yeah...because they're using those banned handguns... I forgot. I guess they nipped into the local constables office and nicked them from the property room, eh? where do some of the banned hand guns come from? at some point some of them started out as "legal" hand guns are you saying that illegally owned hand guns just appear from nowhere?

    because the fact you have them means there are more guns in circulation that could possibly fall in to the wrong hands, your guns may not, but equally they may fall in to the wrong hands at some point just because they have not, doesn't mean they won't

    What stopped the massacre? When armed good guys arrived. Only then did he realize that his work was finished, and he gave up and shot himself. So wouldn't it have been nice to have armed good guys there much earlier, to minimize the death toll? You can do one of two things: 1) Confront the punk with armed force to stop him, or; 2) Do nothing and let him continue to kill. You apparently prefer to maximize the odds for the bad guy. there really is no responce to this kind of post, except... (with knobs on)

    Maybe if you reframe the question you could get an honest answer. Some like the following. The founding fathers of the US knew from experience that a goverment in total control had more power over an unarmed populas. Do you think that times have changed to a point where the US population could give up thier arms and not ever be in any danger of a rogue government? do you seriously think then that in the 21st centuary, you might vote in a rogue government that wants to kill you all? seriously now, how do you think all the other western countries survive without the paranoid need for the right to bear arms then?

    Maybe it's because they've grown comfortable having US military bases around, to watch over them. you're protecting us from our own government don't delude yourself anymore, that's not the case

    still no specifics from the gun crowd as to exactly what their governmetn will do to them if they don't have guns not too hard is it? why do you need an armed militia? what will they stop the government doing to you? and why does every other western democray not feel they need armed militias to protect themselves from the government they elect themselves

    Was it only in Germany where guns were proscribed from the civilian population? are you actually scared that if you don't own guns, your government are going to do what the Nazis did to the jews I'm still not sure i understand why you keep mentioning the nazis? is your government so fucked up, that it wants to kill all it's own citizens and only isn't doing that because you all carry pistols?
