The same thing that I think a mugger would do to me if he knew I was armed. Nothing. Mabe had the Irish had similar gun ownership, the Black and Tans would have been a little nicer. repeat after me "i'm not paranoid, i know you all think i am though"

Just what exactly do you think your own government will try and do to you that you'll need a gun for? if you feel threatened by your own government, enough to feel in fear of your life... do you really think something as powerful as your government can be stopped by you owning a little pistol? why not just vote them out of office if you feel threatened enough by them that you need a gun to protect yourself from them?

this is a good point - maybe the solution is to outlaw gun ownership on those born and raised in urban areas. They don't really seem to have the personal judgment or responsibility to own weapons. Nor a very good grasp of psychology That will leave all the guns in the hands of bubba and cletus! half the population down south then

DEER SEASON!!! Quite impossible to shoot a deer without a rifle. It is my right to bear arms against deer. Take away my rifle and the deer have won! I will not stand for such a loss. Deer cause trouble and must be controlled through controlled elimination. Deer are evil. There is no boundary for the havoc they cause. They destroy crops, invade grain bins, attack innocent cars along roadways, storm shopping malls and run amok causing panic amongst the innocent. They must be controlled with the barrel of a gun. The second amendment gives me the right to hold the gun that controls the deer population. It must be real fun to hunt down a deer the thrill of chasing that dumb, unarmed animal, getting it in your sights and killing the mofo I applied for a licence to hunt deer for fun, but they turned me down due to my oversized, 3 inch penis apparently i'm over endowed for such an activity

Since i don't think America is at risk from the English anymore isn't this WAY outdated now? shouldn't it be scrapped and new, up to date legislation brought in? the days of needing an armed malitia are long gone, so why keep the 2nd amendment? are the words of the 2nd amendment cherry picked and twisted by the pro gun people to suit their needs and desires?

I can think of 32 people who might disagree. To that I say - have some stones, you're not getting shot. I'll go ahead and put money on it. If either you or Willard get shot and killed in a mass murder situation then I'll walk across the UK buck naked and playing my dick like an air guitar while singing Jingle Bells at the top of my lungs. So let it be written, so let it be done. Again, NO reason to have a gun in class. Willard, an M14 without a pin is really great for making synchronized clicking sounds when we fixed bayonettes during parades. Otherwise it was a fucking nuisance that only got me demerits if it wasn't clean enough. any chance you could play some Hendrix instead? -

I just find it amazing that the most powerful nation on Earth didn't have any plans in place (or foresee this would happen) for what would happen after they had got rid of Saddam I think getting rid of saddam was the right thing to do, but serious questions should be asked about what has gone wrong afterwards.... somebody surely is responsible for the mess the country is now in?

I've been pondering (i know, i shouldn't ) the idea of carrying a gun to protect myself I actually don't know when it would be ok to use it though.... i'm interested in the views of the gun carriers on here, when would they use their gun? How about if they were just about to get mugged in the street? Would they shoot the mugger dead? Obviously if the mugger had a knife or a gun then i know the answer would be yes (and i agree) but what if the mugger didn't have either of those, what if he was trying to mug you by using his fists? Would you get your gun out to scare him off? what if that didn't scare him off, would you kill him/her to stop somebody mugging you but not threatening your life?

That should read Citizens owning guns and having the proper training in proper use and the responsibility of gun ownership IS a very good thing, but citizens owning guns who are young and impressionable without that training and sence of morals is not, and that can be a recipee for disaster thanks

yes, i see what you mean...but the point i was (badly) trying to make was that i think the media (particulary music) has a part to play in people mis-using guns you can never stop the lunatic going on a killing rampage, no matter what you ban, but you can try and limit the glorifying of guns. I think many "gangstaz" don't think of the consequences of killing somebody, they don't stop to consider not only is it the end of the victims life, but it's the end of theirs too (either in the electric chair, or a life in prison getting raped by a man with a large, bushy moustache) Citizens owning guns can be a very good thing, but citizens owning guns who are young and impressionable, now that's a recipee for disaster

I think some of the school gun problems are caused by the glorification of guns in the media take (c)rap music, you've got all these low life "ganstaz" who want to appear cool, so they all talk bollocks....sorry, rap about guns and how their "nine is loaded" and other shite, what kind of image does this present to impressionable people? Does the media in general need to stop glorifying guns ?
