  1. 320 replies and more than 15000 view`s on a thread for a guy jumping one piece of 0-P square canopy over he`s head........is it any wonder there are war in this world
  2. yeah...but the helmets on the jumper looks cool
  3. I agree with you! The Sabre 2 170 is great canopy for whiplash and for making U-turns in the sky! I've jump one loaded at 1.4 to 1 and I'm looking to get a Safire 2 or a Pilot at this point. I've had my fill of Sabre's and Sabre 2's. what about...LEARN HOW TO PACK!! it`s never to late.......
  4. great...now, do a search in classifieds and find a real canopy. A Velocity 84 must hit your spot...just take it easy on the first 5-10 load then you be fine, your my hero.. edit to add: if you should be a real man, ADD is a nono.. sell it and buy the smallest reserve there is(of course a low-volumpacked one for a smooth looking rig)
  5. hey...what did your mommy tell you about posting on internet??
  6. the only remarkable with this thread is his motorbike...i don`t care if he choose to jump his deadly sabre, a baserig or his grandma.......put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. ... and people are loosing they`re jobs, starting to drink, get homeless, what next 3 world-war...armageddon............all this because of one person who wanna jump a canopy at wingload 1,333....., let`s all face it folks...the end is near. it`s hopeless
  8. Week ain't over yet! Ha! What do you know? Mr. Negativity... A guy comes here for a little support and all the experienced people have done is give him grief. What do you guys know anyway? Isn't anyone with more than 200 jumps going to agree with him ? The whole point of creating the thread was to find someone to agree with him. If the purpose was advice, the thread would have only run two pages. On the positive side, it is rare to see a thread that is this one-sided(not that it means anything). With the exception of one person, everyone is in agreement. Maybe he should post something in Speakers Corner. I don't agree either, really, my best advice is a low deductible. i either agree or disagree, to be honest i don`t care if choose to jump a sabre, stiletto or a baserig..as long as he enjoy the jumps
  9. Week ain't over yet! YES YES YES....THAT`S THE SPIRIT!!!!! thumbs up...let`s all hope he would die.... maybe you will get some happiness in your life too
  10. he`s not dead yet!! so he must have done something right
  11. well..i guess he already done that, but he may have use another word for it ...like cliffdiving!!
  12. im thinking about purchasing a new set of Javelin/odyssey Spectre150 and Smart150reserve..cypress..i think that would be great package..
  13. i have only use helicopter up to a cliff and jumped...
  14. there is no key book for beginning base..but some advice could be smarter than others,(not sure if my advice is smart though) but if i should start all over with the knowledge i have in basei would start at this point: 1 visit the nearest windtunnel with a good coach and pull out maybe 10-20 hours with differents flying technique.. 2 get a skydiving license for canopy practice 3 buy a BASE canopy(since this discipline is your nr1?) and put it in a skydiverig, get use to accurate landings 4 after 50-150 jumps on this canopy, find yourself a BASE mentor(LEARN HOW TO PACK). 5 start with a "easy object" a bridge is a more forgiving object than a cliff.. 6 after you are finding your comfort zone in BASE, (and what jump number is that? i don`t know..some have it after 50 jumps other have it after 300 jumps..you have to figure out yourself) you could try different jumping style...such as multiways,aerials.... i have never tried wingsuitsBASE, only from a airplane..i have never been good at this discipline so i gave it up and sold it and bought me a pair of skies...so this is my new favorite discipline(skibase)
  15. what about Carl Boenich? when did he start videoing.. early 60`s?
  16. hmm, sounds like there where a different type of jumpers "back in the days"..i rarely(or never) hear stories like this now a days.. In some way i wish i jumped in the 70`s or 80`s..but when it come to equipment im glad i started only 8 years ago..
