Thank you for the comments. I am paying to get them going in the sport, so the first few jumps, then they are on their own, but I'm sure I will help them as they need it.
I have been interested in the sport since I was 17. I signed up to jump in California then and the day before my jump, two people were killed, so my mom would not let me go. Then for my 21st birthday I was signed up again and something else came up. I have wanted to go since. Then after having a couple back surgeries I figured there wasn't much chance of ever going.
When my oldest son turned 19 he wanted to do a tandem so I signed him up and found out the Dr. thought my back would be fine so we did it together and we were hooked. We could not wait for spring so we could get started. So finally, at 51, I get to start jumping. This adds to my flying and SCUBA diving that I also do.
My youngest son will turn 18 in November so next spring he wants to start. I can't wait until we can all go together. LarrysJumping
