My local DZ is only 1 year old. As an anniversary event, we are looking to plan some friendly competitions. I've checked out the USPA site. We plan to do 4-way scrambles, accuracy, and swooping. Anybody ever planned a small competition without all the official equipment & formalities? Suggestions for accuracy pad? General advice? Great facility with indoor packing. Fantastic interaction among skill levels; beginners and visitors are invited to jump with regulars and very experienced jumpers, and all in between. Very friendly bunch of people. Even spectators are welcomed.

Looking for a DZ or event in a warm location near good scuba diving open water. Last year was our first trip for a group of skydiving friends & spouses. Trying to start an annual tradition and hoping at least this year to combine the trip with some overdue scuba. Wanting to travel Feb-April. Any suggestions?
