But your screen name really got this agnostic assholes short hairs riled up. No offence... no offense takin, and thanks for the support..as far as the screen name goes its just what im about without compromise, but wasn't meant to offend anyone..I love the Lord and just a guy that's not ashamed to admit it. thanks for the reply!! "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  3. Ok I'm going to try and be nice... Who the fuck are you? [/repl] Well if i were a prick i would tell you to look at my profile to see who i am, but im not, so forgive me for offering my assistance for your boredom without introducing myself...my name is Brad Pilkington, and am usually to busy to get on here due to frequent deployments with the military....so now u know, satisfied? 6. hey man!! i was at the Farm on Friday, an was hopin to catch u there...me and the wife was over in the area and got in a couple of jumps...Chad shot some pretty good video..anyhow, when we gonna get that long over due jump in? "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  7. check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eejQPUyeNiY my opinion is that lying is apart of most people's everyday life, but i have found that most habitual liars mainly lie to make others view them in a better way than they view themselves, and mostly for attention...being an x-habitual liar, i can say that NOTHING good came from it... my two cents for whatever its worth...oh and whats up Billy? When we gonna get that jump in?...i was at the Farm last Friday!...me and the wife had a blast!! missed ya! "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  8. thanks for your support.. I decided to buy my wife a new main since everything else is new...plus ill jump her new main when she down sizes, so that works out for both of us... im glad that my wife ended up going out the door on our first tandem together, because she was indeed very scared, but im proud that she got thru it and ended up lovin it as much as i did!! 9. happy bday.. "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  10. Scared me. Boy looks like he could beat the shit out of me. -Luckily I don't have to worry about that stuff. I am, after all, married to an old Army Ranger... tell ur hubby that i appreciate his service and HOOAH!! is he retired? "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  11. Sure, but I still laughed at his need to post a picture to prove what a big man he is! Not sure what he thought it would accomplish, but whatever. no need really, and sorry but i dont consider myself a big man either, and to be honest really didnt have a NEED to accomplish anything...sorry if it offended u..just wanted to make a point, based on the misconception that one may have thought as me being the "skinny" one in the video...wow..but hey, im not that guy..."the one who "thinks" he's better or bigger than anyone..to be honest im quite the opposite..;) "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  12. I have no reason to belittle anyone...i have seen too many malicious attacks and crap in my life, (mostly in Iraq) that have curved me from ever wanting to personally attack someone without merit or reason.. I have thick skin and can handle more than the average, but just like i told Billy, I don't know him so there's no reason for me to get on any "bandwagon" and bash him... i love skydiving...ive waited 24 years, since seein my father jump in '80 with SF, to do it myself...i see it as a melting pot-tight nit community..the military keeps me grounded and after being in Iraq i look at the world and the ppl that live in it differently than before...with that book written, ill let yall get back to posting everything b/t here and the moon!!;) "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  13. Since you edited your post once already, thought I'd quote it for ya, just in case your little 'God-fearing' butt tries to deny it later. I dunno if your quote was meant for me, but just so u know i wasn't in the video, nor there when it was taped, but i am the one who posted this...but if u were referring to me as being "little", well it is not somethin ive ever been referred to as before, but "God-fearing"-i'll admit to that..but hey u have a right to your opinion, so if u think im little, im cool with that...but would suggest u re-think that after lookin at the pic at least..;) fyi- i never edited my first post of the video!! "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  14. Clever PA disguised as a video removed. Your one warning. check this out!! "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  15. 2fat] i hope i am not over stepin my bounds since being a newbee here, but hey cant expect u to understand this, but my perspective...think of being in iraq 16 months on 12-20 hour convoys with no a/c, crappy weather, no hotel-just tents, missed 2 of my sons bday, 1 of my daughters bday, 1 of my wife's bday, 14th anniversary, and my mom died right before i left...did i mention that the weather was terrible.. ive had my moments kindve like you're havin..all i can say is..have a wonderful bday; afterall it is YOUR day..and whenever ur gone from ur wife for a period of time, just try to think of my battle bud's in Iraq and Afghanistan and it may help you feel a lil better! "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  16. ur story is too cool...my wife's unable to jump every weekend because she's getting her Master's degree..so i usually get a few jumps in a weekend i cant wait, i bought my wife a new Mirage G4 fully articulated, new cypres, new PD reserve, an used main...still waitn on the cypres to come in...but im excited for her...she's been jumpin that over priced rental crap... "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  17. And he wasn't even there. He was in Oklahoma City spending three days to learn how to fill out a 2-page form. Next time...I guess it's my turn to drive to you Brad...thanks for the kind words. Mike Yea well, u know u win some and u lose some; but i try to look at the positive side of it; i love to drive, i wanted to check out the DZ, and plus i was like 15 miles away when i found out that you weren't there, plus i got to meet Andy and Tator who were nice enough to share there quite so different wisdom on skydiving with me!..So overall it was a great trip, and i knew my wife's rig was in good hands... ur more than deserving of all compliments bro..u see some ppl in the army can say nice things..;) "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  18. we actually did our 5 tandems each in 2 days...we spent 2 days in orlando, 1 in tampa (Busch Gardens), 1 in ft. myers, 2 in miami, and 4 days in key west... so..yea it was a long over due vacation.. "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  19. My incredible wife and I went on vacation througout Florida for 10 days upon my return from Iraq in May 2007. She knows after 16 years of marriage that i have been wanting to skydive, since seeing my father jump with the Special Forces, at 8 years old. After 5 tandems each at Skydive Miami we both were hooked!!..i would never have dreamed in a million years that the love of my life would love skydiving as much as me, but she did, and does. 3 months later she has over 50 jumps and i have 85; there's nothing greater to me than having the opportunity to jump with her on the weekends. "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  20. sorry to hear about that..thats too bad. i bought my wife a kitty when we got married and i cant recall what exactly happened to the lil thing, but after $1200 that i did not have, she didnt pull thru it...now, 16 years later she's just now askin me for another one... dunno if i should or not? "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  21. I really can't say too much because I'm a newbee in here...but i must say that i look in here as often as possible to learn more about skydiving and the people in the sport...i appreciate people openly sharing their feelings, opinions, criticism, and expertise on the "topic of the day". I dunno if he ever posts stuff here, but the guy that always has had time to answer my questions and help me out its' Mike G. (skydive the Farm) I drove over 200 miles to take my wife's first complete set up to be put together by Mike. And the reason for driving instead of shipping the stuff was i wanted to shake his hand and tell him to his face how much i appreciated him, for he always takes time to answer my elementary questions. "More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse."
  22. Hmmmmm so ?? are you an example of the caliber of the people in AlaBama??? if so i'm not impressed... he is NOT an example of the ppl that live in Alabama, but just a "young" 18yr. old defensive exception. ***as for all these hot babes you mention.. the 18 to 22 year olds...... How many of them were born to OTHER 18 - 22 year olds,,,,, whose social life consists of underage drinking and then screwing anything with a zipper... who drives a pick up truck???? This is the case at 90% of major colleges in the U.S., so thats nothing new. sorry for the nasty attitude here... But if you don't like the message ( namely this entire skyride CALAMITY ) it doesn't mean you can tear down the messenger ( namely BillyVance)...*** Quote everyone has a right to their opinion, and to have a nasty attitude from time to time depending on their circumstance, just as my lil young AU friend. my two cents: criticism is good as long as it doesnt turn personal, most of the time when this happens you have to consider the source and decide whether to reply or to just ignore it. i am a newbee skydiver with only 85 jumps since beginning in May..the best part of skydiving is that my wife does it with me...renewed life after 16 years of marriage..stating this only because i read these forums for information to learn how to be a better skydiver, and if there's one thing my young AU friend has knowledge about it's skydiving..afterall how many 18 year olds do you know that have over 500 jumps with his coaching rating?... my life's too busy with the military to get caught up in this pissin contest, but for whatever its worth, i appreciate everyones comments..afterall thats the awesome freedom that i fight to keep!
