So her rebuttal to all the money skydivers bring to the community is that the airport is actually driving potential residents away at a greater rate than it's attracting them...somehow I doubt that lol.

A good friend of mine recently scored a smoking hot girlfriend who is significantly younger than him. He follows her around like a pathetic puppy occasionally licking the bottoms of her soles when she deigns to lift her foot. To me it's an issue of self-respect. The tunnel in Nashua, NH is a 15 min drive from Pepperell, MA...and Skyventure NH might be cheaper b/c it's a little smaller @ 12' diameter http://www.skyventurenh.com/ http://www.skyjump.com/ Both are close to Boston & it will save you the additional continent crossing of going to the west coast.

It doesn't seem fair to exclude diabetics from skydiving...If a person actually thinks they may be incapacitated they will likely choose not to jump on their own. Anyone can suffer a spontaneous medical episode during a skydive. It's part of the risk and something to be mitigated by having a large reserve and an AAD, not a reason not to jump... It would be a shame if someone felt they had to hide their illness just to be able to jump.

Sorry you have to put up with that crap...(no pun intended haha) Sounds like it must be a big challenge in your life, but I bet it makes you appreciate that you can still jump even more!

Yes I think you may be right. Yet I dont' see puting my faith in random chance. Not yet anyway. Maybe in the future, but not now. Then again, in NJ and on most DZ's the odds are not with me Now NYC or Brooklyn.....1.5 to 1 things look better. Look up 'douchebag' in the dictionary if you want to see what shah looks like

That's not giving men enough credit. Sure, there are more than a few worthy exceptions. Actually, there are plenty of amazing men out there, both those who do and don't jump. I'm pretty certain that most men aren't turned off, nor intimidated by the sporting activities that a woman choses to do. No matter how bad-ass, if a girl is classy, a man will almost always treat her like a lady. Personally, the non-jumper men that I've been in serious relationships with were kind, confident, successful *and* incredible athletes in their own right, so they had their own passions and activities. Therefore, there was always an understanding of my passion for skydiving. I've never chosen to be with a man, who isn't supportive, impressed, proud and happy for me. It's easy to find out pretty quickly, if a man will be supportive or not. (Luckily, I'm not attracted to TOOLS.) If a man says that he is intimidated or that a girl is "too good" for him, perhaps he is letting the girl down nicely. Either that, or the man may have insecurity issues. A CONFIDENT, successful and smart man will virtually always want the whole package, not less. no supermodels allowed in this thread unless u enjoy being mind raped by shah move along

I've never cheated on a girl and I treat my girlfriends generally well apart from a little benign neglect. At the end of the day I'm just looking for a girl who skydives and knows how to cook. I also want to be a stay at home dad. Someone needs a little more sense of humor

Trust me, they're douchebags I'm not quite as much of a woman-hater as Shah, but I have been burned quite a few times by the fairer sex.. I pretty much avoid dating now unless it's someone I reaaaallly like...which tends to be uncommon. The fact that I only socialize in skydiving circles these days has limited me even further it would appear. At least I don't have any STD's (yet)
