I DARE you to explain the symbolism in this video!
gavi_omen replied to quade's topic in The Bonfire
I think the video is about how the guy is a figure of power (and has the elemental fire), and how these 4 women live with him and screw with his life using their elemental power. Also, they have a resident choreographer who stands by and coordinates any movement that they have to do in the house. But yeah, basicly I think that they other 4 elements are high-class whores who just take Fire's money and occasionally throw shit at him. 8 out of 10. I always heard it was best to read your written piece backwards to look for mistakes. Seems it's a way to get around your mental ability to whitewash things. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

So that's what guys do in Wisconsin when there's nothing to drink...

No, Lynn, I continued down the hallway to go brush my teeth. But the whole time I could hear them asking other people in the hallway whether or not they "shaved their bush". What a crazy place the UW school system is. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle. -

I just walked out in the hallway in my dorm, and was suprised to find that 3 guys were standing out in the hallway, essentially just showing each other their dicks. I didn't know that that's what other college students did when there wasn't any alcohol around. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle. -
Well, I voted. But I must say that that announcer is an absolute dumbass and definitely does his job very poorly. The only enjoyable parts were where Jonathan was talking and watching the swoop videos. Hope Jon wins the vote. That's so incredibly sad that it makes 100% valid points. Nothing we can do about it now though. Clearly we learned from that history, and thus it's not ever coming back. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

Hausse is 18 himself. I don't think he does. Although, you never know, he may have some kids back in Switzerland or something... There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

I'm actually serving in the Israeli Defense Force come 2009. Israeli chicks are really different though. They don't play games. They are a hell of a lot more forward, and would probably beat the shit out of you if cornered. That said...they're all the better for it. Hopefully it wasn't Wissota. I would have a hard time figuring out how anyone could find that place unsociable. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

I wish that were the case too. You really gotta make the drive up here more often Swiss. You know you're a skydiver when you have a million and one uses for a pull-up cord and have a ton of them lying around. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

What did you guys think of tonight's episode? I thought it was a little slow perhaps, but it was pretty sweet to see him destroy that guy's car. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

That's what's so funny though. They don't hold back on the content, but they still censor the swearing. Crazy world we live in... There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

I wasn't talking about you, I was actually talking about all the crap that I said. You didn't really state much in the way of opinion in this thread. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

Thanks Turtle, I think it's great that you're sick and tired of hearing overly opinionated people spout their opinions as fact. If I come back in one piece I'll bring you a snowglobe. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

That's kind of an asshole-ish thing to say. I also think it's kind of an ignorant thing to say. I've spent a fair amount of time there, and I'm going to be serving in the Israeli army within the next couple of years (and no, I'm not Israeli nor do I have family there). But I have an understanding of what has happened there, what is happening there, and that the country of Israel is an establishment worth fighting for. And to have an understanding of the situation there is to realize that the world and the media sees the situation there much differently than the people that actually live there. As I have heard it stated, and quite accurately at that, "If the Arabs lay down their guns there will be peace. If we lay down our guns there will be no Israel." Peace in the middle east is not about concessions, be them for land or purely a gesture. Peace, as it's defined by the bulk of the Arab population there and by the bulk of the world in fact, will only come when Israel is destroyed. Wow, that was kind of a rant. Sorry about that. I've been following it as well. I think it's one of the best shows on TV right now. That may seem kind of short-sighted, but compare it to the crap that shows up on the networks. From what I understand they've only made 7 or 9 episodes and currently it's not filming because of the writer's strike. Which is, to say the least, quite unfortunate. ...just make sure you don't get any blood on a perfectly good engine. If you think you're about to crash, use your last moments to toss the engine away from the carnage. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.

What age did you start skydiving?
gavi_omen replied to GoRdOn8619's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
As soon as I could legally skydive here in Wisconsin, I did. Turned 18 (July 4th) and signed up for the next static line class. I have 68 jumps right now, but it hasn't been jumpable here for a month and a half. Otherwise I'd have upwards of 100 right now. Me too. But I'm probably also one of the few skydivers that straight up doesn't drink. It's not because I don't like it...oh wait, no, that is the reason. I don't like it. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.
