No 'Replied to Post' Emails...Then Same Alert 6 Times
TShearer replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in Error and Bug Reports
I got that too last week, seems like I get multiple emails in my inbox. I'm hoping they fix the problems with the email soon. -
I'm getting multiple emails in my Inbox, like 10 from the same sender over and over. Its getting very annoying, is there any reason to why this is happening and will it be fixed soon?Quote

Young skydiver meets old rig

Very cool pictures -
A trip to Vegas, that is really cool. I feel that my husband is the same way, he wants me to be happy and he supports what I do. He is my priority, first and foremost, as is our finances and doing stuff with him. After all that, then if there's time and money for me to go skydiving, I will.

Does that happen to everyone that skydives? I've been married for 9 months, I just did my first tandem and I want to start doing AFF. I brought my husband to the DZ to get pictures of me and he seemed to enjoy watching how happy I was and the video, etc. I just wouldn't want to lose him due to a sport/hobby.

"Look out for skydivers that like to fart in the plane. Ask your local instructors about high altitude flatulence." -- I wish someone had warned me about this before my first jump. I was in a plane full of guys, me being the only girl there and it was like non-stop flatulence

I think I will try that!

Did you hunt the person down and break both their kneecaps?

Same here, I keep trying to talk about it and no one understands really what I'm talking about. So I figured I need to make some friends who actually do know what I mean.

My first jump was at Skydive Suffolk, July 7th, 2007--2 days before my 30th birthday

I recently did my first tandem. My instructor told me that its okay to be scared because if you weren't, it wouldn't be as much fun when you jump! Just try not to be too nervous, listen to your instructor, remember to arch and SMILE! You will have lots of fun...let us know how it went!!

Thanks for the tip, I will ask my DZ about that. None of my friends can understand why I want to jump out of a plane, I can't stop talking about it!

Hi all! I am so glad I found this forum to be able to talk to other skydivers. I did my first tandem jump on July 7 at Skydive Suffolk and I am hooked. My instructor was awesome, I didn't feel that scared before going up. I did feel a bit naseous after landing because it was hot out, I didn't drink much before I jumped and I get a bit of motion sickness sometimes. Anyways, I want to do my AFF but I think I'd like to do another tandem first.
