In Reply To landing in a tree was half the problem: staying warm through the night was the other problem. ive slep in 20F while only using a canopy (Dry F111). stayed toasy warm. Is it possible to stay warm in wet material from a cheapo ....i believe so but am not sure. im thinking one would be warm...but still wet. any experience sleeping in an older wet canopy? anyone want to try? fbi man?? Camp Fire? Angelic ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, he smoked and would have had matches yes , very possible

i went to SVCO this December!!!! Made the right choice from Houston. Orlando can be so nice outside in DEC ...same with Eloy. I didn't want to risk the un-comforts of a cold front, so i went to SVCO.... was toasty warm with the recirc air. I prefer the warmth over the dense cool air! Bowan, I remember my first cold sub 40s jump and the dense air... more so than the cold!

saving the sport???? save it from who? save it from what? skydiving will be around as long as there are airplanes! yes, there may be a decline in the sport? but who does it affect? The not for profit USPA that needs the member dollars?? There may possibly be a decline in Skydivers here in the US. but world wide, id guess there has been an increase?? There is not a tunnel on earth that will save skydiving( since there is nothing to save it from). If anything, the tunnel will decrease the number of skydives (from experienced jumpers). just my opinion

Interesting that i found this picture of these guys in ties. what do ya think? any smoke jumping experts still alive from the time? Any smoke jumpers with big balls? wild enough to fit the situation? Any Skydivers/pilots/smoke-jumpers fit the profile?
