no I have no idea who this person is, but I can almost guarantee I made that bet (I had really, really high/delusional hopes last year/every year). wouldn't this bet be void since I entered into it in a mentally impaired state? should I make him paypal ME $100 for all the mental anguish he has caused me today?

I just realized in the 3 threads I've started I have said something about my boobs. (once, in the jumpsuit thread, it was legit, but this is just getting out of control)

so, I get this email today from a name/address I don't recognize. I racked my brain and came up with nothing. I must've given him my business card as a point of contact b/c he emailed my work addy. there were several one line emails that followed, but the email ball is in my court and I don't know what to do. should I offer to paypal him the money? do I offer him $40 in max and erma's giftcards that I'd like to get rid of? OR just send him a boob shot and be done with it? ftr, I'm really poor. so ideally there would be no money leaving my hands (if anything, it would be nice for it to be coming IN)

I dunno...I've heard antenna jumpers are the most bad-ass (thereby hotter?) then again, I'm just a n00b, so what do I know?

other days, butterscotch. sometimes just unpleasantness. I only know this by basically motorboating myself under my shirt at work, it's not like the smell is following me around (or maybe it is?) I wonder what combination of boob sweat, bra fabric (/softeners/detergents), and natural toxins emitted from my body go into making these scents. I'm not wearing any lotion or perfume there. ladies, what are you workin with over there?

on a semi-related note, in college my neighbor and I were eating burritos and I came up with this genius idea - he would let me put hot sauce on his dick but I had to lick it off. well, I dripped a few drops on there and some accidentally got in his peehole. he was FLIPPING out and trying to get me to fulfill my end of the bargain (while also easing his "discomfort") but I was choking on my laughter and was pretty much paralyzed by it. he ended up running to the bathroom to put the fire out. he didn't speak to me for a few days. but I guess he got over it and years later we're still friends and I think of him (and his p33n) fondly every time I eat hot sauce. /my little story

two things. 1. thanks to the power of suggestion, after reading this thread I immediately got up from my snuggly spot on the couch, put on my boots, and hauled ass to the g-store to get the aforementioned fixins to make me some nachos. FUCKING YUM. (note: it's a snow day with about 5 inches on the ground, so this involved cleaning off my car, etc) 2. I don't know who this bananasaurus girl is but I think we would/should be friends. besties even.

update: 3 years later I am now a licensed skydiver :D I am super lazy (and haaaaaate packing), so I only have ~120 jumps, but I just found this thread again and thought it was funny/right on. they had me at "door!" ;) so, hi2u, again.

under most circumstances, you'd probably be right. however, I am 5'8, ~160 lbs, and very "top heavy". that, coupled with me being an ex-gymnast with a super flexible back (hence crazy natural arch that I have to work VERY hard to come back from), I have a really high fall rate (I think avg is 129, iirc). the big guys laugh before they jump with me and think I'm exaggerating. and then we jump together. :P haha I SELL art, I don't make it. and I mostly sell boring art to the gov't, not super cool jumpsuit-inspiring stuff. allllright I guess it's been decided. I'm going to try to get a "cute" RW suit and matching FF pants (from same manufacturer) for ~$700 total. I've spent all night looking at the different websites (and attempting to research options/quality/experiences/photos, to little avail) and I CANNOT MAKE A DECISION. HALP GUYZ.

before I address anything else, I want to clarify that I would like to look "cute", not cool. I am well aware that my n00b-ness, tevas, and reflex have eliminated me from the cool kids group :(

FOR THE RECORD, the pilot I'm jumping is bee-yoooo-tiful, and flies like a true champion (the human pilot, on the other hand, leaves a bit to be desired). the reflex was a bargain I could not refuse. and I think the pop-top is kinda cute ;) p.s. and another tidbit for your files: in the summer I jump wearing lands-end brand tevas, which I later found out were not, in fact, the cool thing to wear anymore. FLAME AWAY.

background: I am a n00b jumper with about 120 jumps (over 3 years, I know, I'm a slacker). up to this point I have been doing solely RW (with a few botched freefly attempts thrown in there), but would eventually like to learn how to freefly. situation: my dad wants to get me a jumpsuit for christmas (the first one I won't be borrowing/appropriating). price is not so much an issue, but I'd like to go no higher than $600/700. I have had very conflicting advice given to me from several VERY experienced, "decorated" skydivers. one says that I should go ahead and put the money into a freefly suit, and that I can use that to do RW too. the other says that getting one suit and expecting to use it for both freeflying and belly is like trying to play basketball with a football and vice versa. I don't want to piss off the people I jump with (most of whom are old-school RW'ers) and not have a practical suit. it was suggested to me to get a nice RW suit and then buy some sweatpants from walmart to learn how to freefly in. that sounds like an economical solution, plus I love sweatpants. questions: what are the major differences between an RW suit and a freefly one? are booties and grippers really it? and if that's the case, why has nobody invented removable parts for both? if I go with an RW suit, are the liquidsky carrera's a good choice? I just LOVE the customization available on the original [freefly] suits, and having a cute suit is a huge priority for me ;) but I know they haven't been around for long and I haven't really found any reviews for them, so I'm not sure if it would make more sense to go with someone "tried and true". also, who wants to design my new suit? $10 paypal and a hug for best design. p.s. thanks in advance for any advice and/or sarcastic comments. this is my first (real) post on here and I'm tingling with excitement.
