I went to the tunnel a few weeks ago with a group of people and one of us had weights. No problems with security. If they ask, say you use them to scuba dive. Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!

Then good luck tomorrow! It seems that when you're on student status there's always bad weather days, high winds, or something else that prevents you from jumping. At least that was my experience The ballon jump was the best! I did it the day before leaving! We had a blast, I'm definatelly doing another one! I recieved my Fuego pro about a month ago. I was told a delivery time of about a month which seemed pretty reasonable and it was delivered on time. The helmet fits perfectly on my head even though I've heard a few "odd shaped" heads might have a different fit (they are bakeable though). I'm honestly very happy with the helmet. It was pricy comared to other helmets but the quality far surpasses any other, it's worth to get one..

I've been doing pretty well lately. I've been deployed for almost 2 months so there's not much to do here. So, why not workout. My goal was to start swimming again. I'm up to a mile in 35 min every other day. I still hit the weights and run on non swimming days. Eating healthy is the hard part. There's candy everywhere!! We have more candy than bullets!! Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!

Yeah no shit. We use Wake and Midway also but it's mostly for the fighters to land. We can hopefully make it to a better place. Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!

Wow. Great post! Learned a few things myself. I'm also working on by BS with ERAU to hopefully one day be a driver. I'm currently a Flight Engineer in the KC-10 for the AF, and I'll tell you, I love it! The flying can always get boring, like Meux said, shitty weather, max duty day and 4am (it sucks). But in the other hand I just came back from a week and a half trip over the Pacific with great layovers and ground times (Hawaii, Guam and Japan!!). Tax free months dont' bother me also, not to mention the tax free year! Good luck and fly safe... Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!

I did my first jump there and then I finished my training in the states. The scenery is great!! I'll be there for the boogie this year so hopefully I'll meet some people from the area to jump with!!! Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!

I'll tell you what, finish your pilot's license first because once you've skydived you'll never want to fly again. It's cheaper and more exhilarating. At least that's what happened to me. ( I did finish my license though). Take care!! Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!

I believe so. My home DZ is X-Keys, I guess they're open year round. But a couple of us are planning a few trips to the tunnel in Jan and Feb to stay proficient. I'm going to try to do a little freeflying in the tunnel too. Everything in excess is bad... except skydiving and sex!
