    Thanks for the replies everyone. I've gotten some responses to the want add that I posted. I'm heading back to my dropzone this weekend to show my instructors the rig's specs so they can tell me if the gear is worth my money. Plus I'm getting measured and fitted for gear by a certified rigger near the DZ, and he'll be able to further help me out in choosing some good gear. Right now I am really leaning towards the Mirage, Javelin, and Vector containers. And the saber main chute. I did have another question - what is the latest DOM I should consider when looking at used gear? I've had a few people give me offers on gear made in the late 80's, and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable using gear that is as old as me.     5 jumps. Started AFF cat A and moved through D by Sunday. Best jump of the weekend was my last jump on Sunday. I didn't expect to make that many jumps, but I couldn't stand being on the ground.

    I posted a want ad on the classifieds page and I'm getting some great responses. I'm in the market for a reliable rig with an AAD that has a canopy that is not difficult to maneuver. The problem is that there are so many options and so many different types of rigs out there, that I am lost when trying to rank what will work better for me over what.     Thanks for the info. I just got the skydivers handbook and I'm really getting into as much as I can learn from it. I'm doing an AFF course at Skydive Carolina next Saturday and I can't wait to get some hands-on learning and experience from the guys that know what they're doing.     I'm new to the forum and new to skydiving. I had my first tandem skydive a week ago and I'm going to start AFF training in two weeks. Skydiving was just too much fun to do only once. Right now I'm looking to learn as much as I can so if anyone knows any good reading material on skydiving, or some sites I could visit, I would appreciate the info.
