Guess it depends on how much out of their lives you've become. My oldest sister had a d-bag of a father who had nothing to do with her for years. When he was dying, he actually tracked her down. She basically said to him "You've wanted nothing to do with me for years, and now that you're sad, dying, and alone you want me to feel some obligation to come comfort you? Doubt it. Goodbye." So yeah, if you need to do it for you, then do it. If you've already closed that part of your life, then don't. Ignore the "it's the nice/right thing to do" crap and just decide if it's something you need to do or if it's a waste of time and will just reopen old wounds. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

I once had a great idea (yes, really! ). DZ's should build play pen for kids. I'm thinking a 8' x 8' shed 1/2 filled with those balls. A trap opening on top which allows only 1 way access inside the shed. Throw the kids in there when you get to the DZ, and at sunset, the door gets opened to let the parents pick the kids up and leave. Now, I know some of you will say this is inhumane. That is why I would also add sprinklers on a 1 hour timer, to keep them cool, and wash off pee... Brilliant. That's an irresponsible and misleading statement. First, it said large displacement bikes were underrepresented in the data, but injury severity increased. how do I disable the pad? Go into the control panel and double click the little mouse icon. Somewhere in there it probably has something along the lines of 'disable mouse click while typing' that will ignore touches for a few seconds after you've pressed a key. Some laptops have a key stroke to disable it as well - do you have a "fn" button near the bottom? It's usually like that with the F9 key for Toshibas ... I'm hoping he didn't realize it was a first bike. I hope. The 250 is a perfectly good bike to learn on (BTW - the "It doesn't have enough power to get a new rider out of a situation" makes as much sense as the "loud pipes save lives" argument) After a year or two, you probably will want something else though.
