no, there are alot of issues to deal with, but i thought a good place to start would be with the law breakers and reevaluate after that is fixed. and it would not cost us any money or the set up of any agency, everything is already in place, just make people do there jobs.

correct we need to fix some issues in health care. Like send some illegals home so legal citizens can get into the emergency room in less than 2-3 hours. Oh and that will open up jobs so the unemployment rate would drop and some more people could actually afford health ins and the reduced number of people not paying would reduce the hospitals costs and that would reduce ins costs. wow i guess it really isnt that hard to start something today, we wouldn't even need to change any laws or even start a new department in the government.

I have lost in the market and I understand the risks and accept them, but the board members need to be held accountable for the loss also. no not feel my pain, I took the risk and accept the outcome, but the ones making the wrong descissions would be less likely to make those poor choices if they had consequences to deal with if they screw up. If they do thing right they get to sit back and smoke the big cigar, otherwise take his cigar. you seem to think I am upset because they have more than me, i am not. I am glad many people have found they way to have the good lives they enjoy and hope someday maybe I will enjoy some of those things also. what I don't like is how they seem to get paid for messing things up and not get held accountable for their actions.

I am not envious of the rich nor did I say managers, I said ceo's and board members. I am all for people becoming millionairs and having great lives, that is the american dream and those that earned it should have it. nor do I want their money to be given to me through wealth redistribution, but I do want them held accountable for when they screw up and pay for their mistakes just like everyone else. Many corperate board members walked away after destroying the company they worked for by making bad choices and many people suffered, they should suffer also. Maybe if they needed to start over like the common person that trusted them they would make better descissions and everyone would be better off.

How many that held stock lost alot or even all? why should the ceo get to go to florida and spend his days in his million $ house with a yacht in the gulf with a maid serving him. Right! most, including me, feel some of the people involved should be in jail and have their assets seized to pay off debts, but why haven't any been charges? why hasn't Obama and the dems done anything? My feeling is that they have received to much money from the people involved.

all of the money you have should be taken to pay the bills. when the bills are paid, you get what is left. Bunkrupcy court doesn't do this and therefore when a company goes under the ceo(and others in control) move as much as they can out of the company and protect it.

the one I listened to was about medical coding. This is one area that Obama could do some good, standardize the coding. one company pays 25% of their payroll is due to billing, alot due to miscoding. I have heard about electronic records but nothing about standardizing the coding to reduce payroll costs in the billing department. If Obama was serious about saving money on health care this is one area he could do something with right now. Why not fix some things that could have an imediate affect on health care costs? why pas a 1500 page bill when 100-200 pages of standardizing coding, billing practices, selling across state lines and tort reform would save enough money to insure most if not all the uninsured and cost nothing but what we are already paying?

a gage order was put on humana for telling seniors their thoughts on the health care bill. he did allow money for abortions in other counties, Took the legal citizen clause out of the child health care program so illegal children could get free health care, and he wants to rework health insurance so millions would receive free health care. I am sure there is more and will be more if he gets his way. If he really wanted to do something productive he would help single parents by making dead beat parents pay their child support and health care for their children. I know personally how hard it is to get the courts to make a dead beat pay. this alone would save millions in welfare, social security, and medical bills. the stimulus was under Obama, tarp was under bush but half was given out under Obama. He could have saved taxpayers billions by not spending the money or not spending stimulus on pet projects of his cronies.

no, personal responsibility means pay your bills, if you are in a corporate setup and the shareholders vote against you you should resign and let those that voted for the demise of the company pay for the loss with their invested money. either way the person or people that ruined the company pay the bills until their money is gone. by this statement are you saying Bush was smart? I don't agree with his ideals for the country. 1.Freedom of speech is for everyone. When I see the Obama administration try to silience those that dissagree (like fox and Humana) is see him denieing a basic right. 2.Entitlements are something that should be banned from federal government control. It is not Obama's or any other administration right to take from some to support others. this is something that should be done on a local basis like family or town. this way the costs would be lower because of the closer ties to the people and that would put a personal feel to the situation. Also those close to the situation would control the costs or the lazyness of the one receiving the aid. 3.I dont like the stimulus package (especially without any support of the oposing party). when ever the ideas of either party get put aside the country looses because balance is what keeps things in check and right now we have no balance and everyone knows how important is is to have balance.(except for polititions it seems) 4. I don't like Obamas radical afiliations. Millions of Americans have fought and died defending this country from those that had the ideals like those of Obama's friends. why the sacrifice of millions only to let them in anyway?

Natural selection is something the left interferes with the most. all entitlement programs interfere with natural selection. We promote a weak society when we have people that no longer produce for themselves because they are suplied by those that carry the load. When those that receive out number those that produce we fail as a country and a race. We are aproaching this point and when and if it happens the suffering will be larger than anything that anyone could imagine. It has been proven for all of us to see in the world today, everytime a species of plant or animal is set free without a controlling factor, that plant or animal flourishes until it runs out of food, but what is left behind is devestation. a visit to the gallapagos will show this without even looking hard. the same goes for what is happening to us in the US today, when the entitlement programs become more than the country can handle the country will collapse and the result of that will be something none of us can really envision.

and the left's blinders are even better. we need to remove most of those in office and start new. Stop government spending and entitlemnet programs and get the government back to doing what the constitution gave them the athority to do. People need to be able to work, pay their bills and prosper. Anyone that doesn't work and pay bills should suffer the concequences. Illegals need to be sent home and let their government deal with their issues. after these things are done the US will start to be prosperous again, until then we will continue towards our own demise.

No I did not. When you run a company you pay your bills, when you bankrupt a company you don't. If you have bills to pay your money is used to pay the bills that you created. this is not the government redistributing wealth, it is holding those that created the deficit responsible for they bills they created. Lucky thinks it is ok to take the profits and income earned and give it to those that didn't earn.

Maybe the entitlement programs that are bankrupt like medicare and soso security, welfare, illegal imigration and other very costly things are the problem. Maybe the government has the money to run in a fiscally responsible way but the entitlement programs (mostly put in by dems) are bleeding us dry. If we eliminate all entitlement programs we probably wouldn't be 11 trillion in debt.

They will have no choice but to go to the gov plan. If they make the ins co's pay out more they will need to raise the rates, if tort reform isnot adressed the cost of medical care will increase and the rates will increase, if they tax the plans the people will pay more, and the list goes on. the only affordable option will be the gov plan and that will reduce the ins co's income and cause their rates to go even higher until they are out of buisiness. Anyone that has run a buisiness understands this. I guess that is why Obama doesn't understand, he has never actually done anything that would cause him to understand basic economics.
