A few verses before, it prescribes death if you curse your father or mother. A few verses after, it requires that you eat kosher. There are also several verses about having sex with sisters, aunts, mother and daughter, etc. Why are all of those others part of the Old Testament to be ignored and that ONE must be made law? Yes, having sex is a choice. And heterosexuals make that choice over and over...even when it is clearly prohibited by the Bible. Then, some of them want to tell homosexuals they aren't allowed to do the same thing and try to get laws passed to make it illegal. Pretty convenient that you pick out parts of the bible that let you do what you want and try to enforce parts that constrain others. If you have had sex outside of marriage; if you have divorced and re-married; if you are not keeping all of the dictates of the OT Bible (also in Leviticus 20), then please give it a rest. Since I was a kid, I've wondered why we didn't make greater use of renewable energy. For my retirement, I still plan to build the earth-sheltered home I've planned all my life.
