You seem to think you may know something others here may not. Out with it, I'll let you know if you are even close. (I bet you are not) -
A long history in this beautiful sport of ours and many friends to go along with it.

Who thinks the Patriots will have a perfect season?
skypapa replied to skypapa's topic in The Bonfire
They must be pretty damn good at cheating in every single game and not getting caught seeing as how almost every single game of theirs this year has had the exact same outcome. Deceit is an amazing thing and works wonders when done properly. They did get slapped with a hefty fine, didn't they? That they did. 500K I think. Crazy when considering that game produced no different outcome than all the others. Weird. If there was evidence of wrongdoing, then they deserved the punishment. Enough said. Lesson to be learned here? Cheat and you too can be very successful? Anyways - my vote is they go all the way to the SB and win it in a blowout. -

and those of us who have had to deal with pissed off Skyride customers who show up at the DZ and find out how badly they're getting screwed. That was not fun-I felt bad for them Boohoo. If you are not a DZO, it is not your problem. -
Hi mama. I've heard a lot about you. All good of course.

Guerilla Marketing and its Deceptive Practices
skypapa replied to skypapa's topic in Speakers Corner
Start giving some facts to back up the accusations that you phrase in the form of questions. Hypotheticals should be used sparingly to make a point. When they are your whole point, though, it gets tiring. Lying and fraud are unacceptable. Provide some concrete and real examples for us to comment on, and maybe we can reach an understanding. See my previous post. One very basic example dating back 28 years or so. Ok, it's a start. However, any controversy there was got laid to rest when Microsoft and SCP settled. The creator of DOS even went to work for Microsoft afterwards. Not the actions of a man who feels he was defrauded. Not the actions of a man that was defrauded? Or perhaps is it a case of a man that was defrauded but was offered millions in return? Hummmm, theres a thought. -
Billy, you're a good guy. I don't care what anyone says. I bet you and I have a lot in common.

So back to the OP. What did Microsoft do that you would consider theft? DOS. -

Per my previous post. Sometimes it is unavoidable. If you choose to live in the dark, then I guess that is your prerogative. -
Guerilla Marketing and its Deceptive Practices
skypapa replied to skypapa's topic in Speakers Corner
No. unethical behavior is unethical. Lies are lies. Theft of intellectual property is theft. Deception is deception. ALL ARE UNACCEPTABLE. All are unacceptable yet all continue to thrive. Business as we know it today would not be where it is without unethical values and deceptive practices. Be it right or wrong. It is what it is. We as a society have turned a blind eye and have made a conscious decision to accept these practices as long as we have the ability to benefit from them. There is always two sides to every story. Bank robbery and murder thrive too. We still don't condone them. Nor should we condone deception and lies and theft to get ahead in business. We are not here to discuss bank robbery and murder. We are here to discuss business practices. You choose not to condone those practices do you? When was the last time you used a microsoft application? When was the last time you purchased an item that was made overseas in a contract that given to the lowest bidder because they use sweat shop labor? When was the last time you drove down a road that was paved by a contractor that paid off their local congressman to get the business and thus put 5 mom and pop shops out of business because they were relying on that contract to keep their shop open. Hell. When was the last time you bought something at walmart? Look around. It is everywhere. Quit trying to fool yourself. -
Thank you for sharing. Sounds absolutely scrumscious!

Who thinks the Patriots will have a perfect season?
skypapa replied to skypapa's topic in The Bonfire
Agreed. She totally left out the weather insurance, the full seat Fee (Other wise you just get sit in someones lap), the oxygen fee, the parking fees and she never once mentioned how many made up fatalities supposedly happened at the other nearby stadiums. A real Skyride operator would have never let all that happened. After all they were trained by the best, Right? You seem to be a man of action. So. Tell me Jello. Will the patriots go unbeaten this year or not? -
Do you have any you would like to share?

Oh it is. I made some for my honey one time when he was home. And the two of us polished off the entire bowl in an hour or so. I bet you did. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

That apple salad sounds absolutely delicious.

I agree. Streetscooby, that was a very weak attempt. The colts will be blown out again. -

Holy hell. You people are truly amazing. You really think the world is that black and white dont you? You really think it is only possible for people affiliated with skyride to disagree with you on this topic? Your post is a PERFECT example of how close minded you guys can be. I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH SKYRIDE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. I AM A SKYDIVER.
