you need to contact the manufacturer of your rig as the prices are different between each company. you might get a better price from a dealer as opposed to the builder. don't worry about trying to remember to hang on to your handles, save your life first, handles are not worth your apprehension.

You might be lifting your shoulder too much. Get video and hire a coach to look at or better yet have the coach go with you on the dive. It cost money but if you want to be good it is worth every penny. Have fun.

Try pricegrabber.com too.

Gaffers tape fixes everything.

My team is using Bev suits and I have to say I really like mine, I have two now and no problems whatsoever with either one related to workmanship. They both came out of the box ready to go which all the other suits I have owned were not, the only problem I've had so far was my fault when I ordered a smaller camera wing than usual and I have to dig in a bit to stay above my 8 way teamies. Get two.

Condolences to her friends and family. I met here in Eloy this year, very nice girl. The world will always be just a little bit darker with her loss.

I am, just weighing my options. Sorry. What the hell is wrong out there in Cali? There was a time not too long ago when you couldn't throw a rock and not hit a 4 way cameraflyer, now one of the better teams in the SSL can't find one, WTF, over! PS I love my team. (just in case they are trolling arond in here)

uhhh, what's it pay?

I used too much on a rig of mine and it turned my black rig grey. The directions say light coats, so I soaked it on the advice of a rigger. After confering with the manufacturer I took it to a dry cleaner and they sprayed it with the cleaning fluid that evaporates quickly. It looks fine now and the cleaning fluid does not hurt the cordura. Only do this on the advice of the manufacturer, not your rigger, the factory knows the makeup of the materials better than your rigger will.

Something you never want to here at takeoff!

Something you don't wanna hear at takeoff; Pilot: Uh oh. Me: The sound that a cork makes being forced back into the wine bottle. -
Ya cheap bastard, become a gear dealer and buy for cost. Gordo ps your kids did good, teach harry how to track though.

Just like in SoCal, water is really expensive so the landing areas get most of the water.

Did you participate in the USPA Nationals?
airgord replied to chriswelker's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
All of us. You have to be a member to participate. -
They are probably in Uraguay or enroute to the boogie there. Patience.

All the little things about cameraflying...
airgord replied to lewmonst's topic in Photography and Video
How about shooting a "something way" at a boogie, the organizer announces that there will be video and it will only cost 2 bucks each, one of the participants pipes in that their pal "Zeb" is looking for some video practice and that he will shoot for free and put in a lift ticket for himself, the other participants upon hearing that keep their 2 bucks and go with "Zeb", who does a shitty job, but he's free. After the day is done "Zeb" comes up to you and is asking for advice on how to make his video better. I know what I would tell him. What would some of you tell "Zeb"? -
Customs in and out of the USA

Not really sure about most of your queries but I do know that they launch the space shuttle from Florida and control it from Houston. Homeland security is a little overboard right now, paranoia is probably closer. Good luck. -
There is an interstesting story about Oscar and his days in a Sturmstaffel squadron (bomber ramming). I saw it in a Flight Journal magazine specil issue on Luftwaffe fighter aircraft in WWII. In the story there was a picture of Oscar and the other pilots in his unit sometime in late 1944, of the 15 pictured Oscar was the only one to survive the war. Did not know that he was captured.

Is it approved in all rigs?
-
Yeah! Save block 12!!! It is one of the few blocks that I am allowed to move for. Just make sure you guys do your 180s and quit being a bunch of wusses, after all, it may look like 4 way on the camera, it really is 5. Merry Xmas. Gordo

If you do any really hard 4 way you will get the occasional knee or flying elbow and the A3 shield caves in really well. Also, repeated opening and closing of the shield wears out the ratchet allowing the wind to get into it and then they blow off right into the camera guys (my) face. We tape them shut as it is considered poor form to throw a shield into our teammates (my) face. You don't want to lose one in the tunnel either.

What song is going through your head right now??

I think the judges were a little heavy handed with Exceed, they certainly did not deserve to be dq'd. The other teams did deserve what they got IMO. It was a great meet, the spots could have been better.

There is no such thing in the U.S.. We will blame anything or anyone for our actions, read the papers, there are examples every day, a man in AZ kills a small helpless child and in court it is blamed on his abusive upbringing, how can this be??? He is a competent adult able to make decisions and he decided to beat this young child until she died! That is not personal responsibility. Some months ago there was a lawsuit filed bya mother against a major fast food chain concerning her 11 yr old son's weight problem, interviewed on television she said that he would eat that chains food five times a day, when asked how she would let him do this she replied that she could not watch him every minute of every day. My question was where did an 11 year old get the cash to go the the restaurant five times a day? The kid was nearly 300 hundred pounds and his mother was about there also, so now my question is where is personal responsibility there? I could go on and on about the tobacco smokers sueing the companies for THEIR habit but I have ranted enough. Personal responsibility is not alive and well in the United States of America. The lawsuit filed by the Mother over her kids obesity was thrown out of court, thankfully.
