Contact the DZ at Lake Wales, they had people shooting footage for the vid.

Although I am primarily a RW'r I do not believe in limiting my experience to one discipline, there is so much to learn from everything. Do not limit yourself.

happy b-day little monster!!!!

Dz I used to jump at had that same problem, first with Mantas and Mighty Macs and the same after changing over to Falcons, Static line or Aff ripcord deployments. Talon classics for containers. They tried shorter bridles and that did not help much at all. It was cured probably inadvertantly by going to a throw out system with inflatable pilotchutes to forego the problems of transitioning to a 2 handle system. It was a concern but that scenario was part of the FJC, also part of the dirt dive of every jump.

Replied to your post but meant mine as a reply to all of them. Cheers

Ask the manufacturer, do not recommend anything that the manufacturer would not approve of, C.Y.A.

They haven't done 20 way at the Nat'ls here since the late 90's but someone might still have copies of the old dive pool and post them for you. Try the USPA and see if they're archived somewhere.

Andy is out of the Army and officially on Airspeed, along with the recently wounded Mike Inabinet (tunnel booboo). The website gets updated at best very infrequently. How ya doin' Scotty?

He has posted here before with contact info, you can research his posts through his profile. If I remember correctly the post I am thinking of had to do with neck injuries from hard openings. Good luck.

Stuck near Eloy with nothing to do?
airgord replied to fred's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Do come out. Do get your "A" qualifications on paper. Do not worry about getting current here (better off if you already are) Despite what Tinkerbelle says the only big egos here are visitors from the small DZ's, we tend to stay away from the guys that have something to prove (they are the ones that end up getting a ride in the "red wagon"). The previous posters have pretty much said it all. -
Yes, they tied with AZ Directe for fourth in open, forgot the scores.

Bombproof is no longer on the DZ, Kevin left for greener pastures. Crash is still here and in the same location.

Your team name should be "Drinking from Puddles". I've tried this on every team I have been on in the last 10 years, no one liked it. Please use it and don't forget to give me credit. Thank you. Gordo

Ask Jason Peters also. Those girls need to arch so they will be stable. -
"Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?" I'll take a Super Otter any day for the convenience of a real door and a Kingair if I wanted to just be crammed in to a small fast climbing tube.

There is cheaper and there is jumping with world champions, but it is your choice, there is much to learn in both cases. Have fun

Happy Bday from AZ.

What's the best year round dropzone weather wise?
airgord replied to dsbbreck's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That's a great plan. I commuted between Eloy and my old home DZ in Oregon for the summer on the Soutwest Airlines frequent flyer plan, it worked well as my 4 way team trained once a month for a week and I worked @ the OR. DZ the rest of the month. -
Do you remember the good or the bad skydives?
airgord replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Something that I've learned in almost 10 years of team skydiving is that there is always something positive in EVERY jump I have been on, Even if it was a total disaster it is not worth pointing fingers and foisting blame, you can sit down and analyze the jump to find out what went wrong, move people if appropriate and go do it again. It does no good to shun someone because they "suck", everyone one can learn, I have video proof of it. To answer your post Steve, I remember both good and bad, but not all. Some jumps do stick out in my mind though. Be patient with those that you deem to be "scary" and help them to learn, It will pay off later. Cheers -
This ones for Diverdriver, "Cargo".
