i heard the new macbook is not compatible with any firewire device? i was told that if you want to connect any firewire camera or camcorder you need a macbook pro similarly i was told that it is not possible to install final cut pro on it(not that its not compatible but that its blocked from being installed) the thought process apparently being if you want to use pro software buy a macbook pro anyone heard this?

they did it a good bit in new england i heard a tandem student ask what it was about as i didnt want to and they were just told its an old skydive chant of congratulations or something like that

thats what the box called 'other' is for http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/normal –adjective 1. conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural. :p personally i dont want to be normal but thats beside the point its about finding out about peoples perception of weather you/we are normal or 'abnormal' as you put it so obviously there will be parts of the questions that lean one way or the other edit; thanks for all the responces by the way keep them coming mucho appreciation

its for a sociology module which is a small part of my course. we didnt get much instruction on survey design but it has been proof read by at least two tutors and a few independant people as well and the tutors said it was fine for what i am looking for thanks for the feedback though the more mistakes we acknowledge ourselves and put in the report the better we will do edit' ah crap i knew i forgot something in my rush to get it online i corrected the other mistakes but not the spelling ones

ok guys just a little help needed. im doing research for college into the contrasting views of people who do not participate in extreme sports and people who do. I have two surveys done out both with ten questions and neither should take more than 5 minutes to fill out. Id really appreciate if as many people as possile take the time to fill it out as i need at least 50 respondents to each survey. I am focusing on skydiving for convenience for me. can anyone here who has NOT done a skydive or has only done one and is willing to look at a survey i have to hand out for a college project and give me there opinion on it please pm me similarly anyone who HAS done more than one skydive would be willing to do the same please pm me also each survey only has 10 questions it will only take you a few mins to look at think about it and let me know what could be changed id be particularly interested in anyone who has a degree in or lectures in sociology thanks, mark

if this is the thing from the first page you need to pay to get the serial number i think -
he dosnt claim / dosnt claim anymore that he is really spending a day in the wilderness he says / now says its a representation of someone spending that time there sure in some of his scenes you can see the harness's etc holding him on the tree or whatever hes climbing

sry i thought i said it in my original post we are getting a video camera aswell there is just someone else looking after those details the stills camera will be used in the air too but it will get alot of use on teh ground aswell so even if we cant get a freefal shot to save our lives it wont be wasted same with the video camera, a cameye and bite switch will be bought aswell obviously

i appreciate that but the reasons are as follows there are a good few members coming up to the requirements for us in ireland :p to jump camera and as students we are at least a few years away from being able to afford out own decent set up. we figure that sharing one good set up between everyone is better than waiting 4 years and then starting from scratch with our own set ups we are using dz media at the moment to promote the club and most of it is a few years old and we dont own the rights to it when we go abroad on club trips we have no way of recording the important parts without spending money on coaches or camera flyers and therefore our prospective members only get to see rainy ireland static line jumps and not cool full altitude freefall in the sun and finally the college is giving us money for this specific reason if we dont buy it the moneys gone

hey guys we are buying a camera helmet set up for our college skydive club. i have been asked to come up with suggestions for the still camera and the lens to use with it im think a canon 400d but iv no diea about wide angle lens and we would really like a good one any suggestions? also i think they already have their eyes on a helmet but if you have any suggestoins for highly adjustable cam helmets so that they fit as many people in the club as possible then please tell too thanks

i would love to know the answer as l+ say they have no plans on releasing a mac version of their jumptrack software and therefore no mac interface to put your jump data on the computer sucks ass to be honest

drinking age is 18 in ireland were i am from 21 is a bit ridicolous in my opinion iv been an 'adult' for 4 years (im 22 now) and should be allowed do what i want to my own body in that time also im on the maine new hampshire border at the moment and find the id laws a joke i actually went into hannafords with my passport and was told 'your lucky you didnt come in two hours ago we didnt know if we could accept a passport as id and had to refuse service to two foreigners' if i was one of those people who got refused i would have gone ballistic lower the age to 18 educate your kids and train the people who are serving the alcohol and your all set..........its going to take a while though

first of all i would like to point out that irish people get offended when they are called british :p this is an irish ad we have ads like this at home all the time started about 6 years ago they used to only be shown after 8pm at night now as far as i know its all day. america needs to do something ireland has fixed its drink driving problem to a large extent and now speed is the biggest killer. america has a massive drink driving problem(from what iv experienced so far) and needs to get a handle on it if it makes you stop and think about what your doing for even a second then the ad has done its job and i dont see any downside
