There's a new player in town... Who wants to rent Squirrels? :)
donkeyboy replied to scottygofast's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Congrats and nice work ! Squirrel - "beyond dreams" -
Who's flown one and how much better is it than the original ? ( just a little or a lot
-
I agree with Lurch...Amy is beautiful ;) !

I had the same problem and that's what Tony said too. He also said you can use Scotchgard on the outside fabric to help it regain back some of it's porosity.
-
I was thinking about that as well. I just stitched up the wing vents on my V4 and it slowed it down and made it floatier , the pull is just as easy as before. It still doesn't have the pressure of a tonysuit though.

Please allow me to clarify. The original post stated a jump number "hard line " of 1000. (I'm not advocating sub 200 or 500 jump numbers here either, which for some reason everyone seems to have automatically assumed ) I 'm just saying the skillset should be evaluated individually . Yeah, let's go for a RW, freefly and a track jump and see just how heads up you are. I just think numbers don't always tell the whole story. Of course the percentages go up with numbers, but don't we owe it to ourselves to be that much better ?
-
I'm not following you here - how are you suppose to acquire skills from these activities ? My point exactly. numbers do not equal skills.
-
The only problem is , numbers mean nothing. Skillset should be evaluated individually.

I flew a Prodigy and am now on a Phantom. For me, I control the AOA with the leg wing using my stomach muscles to raise or lower it. My head position on the horizon let's me know where I'm at. If I'm flying flat my legwing is almost all the way stretched and I'm really pushing down on it. Head is level with the horizon. For distance (steep) legs in a bit, letting the air push the legwing up a little, still controlling it, head below the horizon.

Johnny, Congratulations on winning the World Championship I took Johnny's Spring BASE Camp earlier this year and would recommend it to anyone interested in starting BASE.

I have a Troll MDV 265 . Great canopy. Have only jumped it from the P-Rine. It's the only BASE canopy I have jumped. All slider down . Easy to sink it in, even with a tailwind. Nice flare. Responsive. Good glide . I weigh 165 lbs.

Don't forget, with Hanwags you can kick big holes in a wall and it doesn't hurt

Yo Skin, On the smokers , what kind of pants do you start out with ? How many holes and where do you make them? Have you got any pics ? What kind of prizes do you give out ?
