I would like to make a small note here to clarify something - just in case it ever comes to question - standard jump prices are something this boogie is not involved in. This boogie is The JSSSF Boogie and it is only being HOSTED by Skydive Dallas. It is not the dropzone's boogie - it is the Schrimsher Foundation's. So let's try to keep any bitching about the dz's policies separate.

Its the apartment thing. That's going to hurt ya. If you get really good training (PAID trainer) you'll be Ok. If you heart is set on a dog, weiners are small and their poop is too. They will entertain themselves all day with a few toys - just be sure to love on them a LOT when you get home or they'll have separation anxiety. LOL I have two weinie dogs but they are outside 99% of the time and completely happy there.

There are sign up sheets covering a whole wall of the hangar for all the events - I will find the one for the freefly records and let you know. They got a VSCR last weekend - they are really working their asses off - we have been having freefly big way camps for months...as well as FS big way camps - there is a women's state record as well - anyone interested email Mandy at airmagic@texoma.net!

Plus they aren't kidding when they say thousands of dollars in prizes. I have seen the certificates and stuff and let me tell you - its the best I've seen! Plus this boogie always comes through when they say. The beer and food are always outstanding and the prizes and aircraft show up. It is definitely worth a five hour drive. Everybody stay calm. LOL We sell blocks of tickets you know, if you buy ten or twenty they are $19 each, if you buy forty they are $18 each. Also, I heard they"might" drop the ticket prices but I'm not sure so don't anyone quote me on that. ALSO, the hot air balloon is only $60 and that's cheap! Last year at the WFFC, balloon jumps were $79 and I am sure they will be up this year. There are a LOT of reasons to come to this boogie, regardless of the cost. High altitude jumps, high speed passes (I think there will be enough demand for those that they will do them without hop n pops as well) - raft dives - the Skyvan - and all the money and stuff they are giving away. I mean, look at the big picture!!! THey are giving $200 to the person who participates in the most events.

You know I have been working too much when I just noticed that the website has been updated!! I mean, I noticed like a week or so ago, but it really didn't sink in...things are a far cry from the days when I could spend like 10-14 hours or more a day on here, but that's ok because now I have MONEY!! hehehe Plus I've been working on starting my own business. I am a legal business now, with a tax ID number and everything!! WOOOHOO!!!!! I will not comment on my personal life except to say that its 90% good - the ten percent being related to something those of you who know me well enough can guess. PS and to everybody, Paula was correct. The largest formation built this weekend was 119. There was *one* person low/not docked. WOW. But the formations were beautiful from the ground, and I have seen some aerial photos as well thanks to the video guys and J. Schrimsher and they were REALLY beautiful from above too!! This should make everyone appreciate FS (RW) regardless of your discipline. Spaceland and all the other people putting blood, sweat, and tears into this thing truly DID make it a success, regardless of whether they made the actual number of 120 or not. Ya'll are all so sweet!! I got to use Perry's PC9 and still camera the whole weekend since for once he was a participant not a video guy so I am going to post some of the cool photos if they turn out. The still photos are not ready until Friday (I refuse to pay for one hour dev.) and I am going to attempt to FireWire the video I took and possibly edit it with Adobe Premiere tonight. Although, the video editor himself is asleep and I am drinking wine (which always gets me in trouble!!) so I may not get much posted. Eric if you are around you might tell me how to edit the video I took using Premiere and use this program called "Acid Music" to edit with music. otherwise ya'll are going to just get stills from me, or much better video footage/still photos from the actual photographers who were there. I agree with Sniper John, now that our Caravan has had an engine upgrade it gets to 13.5K in fifteen minutes, same as our Super Twin Otter. The Otter holds more peeps, otherwise I like them the same. The only thing nobody likes about the Caravan are the new "benches." It is so funny, they added those a few months ago, almost ten years without them, and very few people like 'em. Hehe, its a laugh to hear people joke about tossing them out the door...I wouldn't laugh if they really did though. We could burn'em at the boogie, though, in a bonfire!! Wait, I wonder what they are made of? I never looked, probably metal. Bummer. Some JetA though and we could probably get 'em hot enough to melt, don't 'ya think?!?!
