Hey ya'll! I am appealing to my fellow jumpers for help with something I am trying to sell. I know we all love skydiving and most jumpers I know have left their other favorite sports by the wayside...mine was ice hockey. Anyway, my stepdad is this huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and several years ago, gave my mom this Cowboys Starter Jacket. I think it was back when they were winning the Super Bowls - I think I was still in high school then!!! LOL I dunno. Anyway, it has been in the closet since then and never worn. I wanted to try to sell it on Ebay but didn't know what to ask for it, or whether its even worth anything (no wisecracks, ok?! I think the Cowboys are a joke, too but there are people out there who would buy it). I also tried to find a website or something where I could find out what collectible items like clothing were worth - any ideas? Thanks Sis

You have always been a kind of inspiration for me, because when I start feeling bad because of the # of jumps I have made or whatever, you remind me how long it took you to get where you are! I should have applied for my C before they changed the rules but oh well. Now I'll have to get 200 first. That really shouldn't take that long, if I could JUST JUMP! i think a cat is more useful indoors...she can catch mice, and can keep me company during the day when i'm home alone making jewelry or whatever...

My cat IS black (well, mostly) so it doesn't leave lots of obvious hair on black shirts. LOL She's still a baby...she just wants to be warm no matter what it is.

My cat seems to think the coziest place is anywhere I don't want her to be. LOL Actually, her fave place is right next to my head, on or by the pillow... or between mine or Perry's feet - depending on who she sleeps with. (Usually its with me. hahahahaha) I do find her other favorites are: in the dirty laundry basket, behind the loveseat, on top of any computer or AC adapter (warm), in front of the gas heater in the living room. Well...I didn't bet anything and I am not much of a gambler...but a certain person in my family - related by marriage - bets on so much shit you would probably faint. I don't even understand it...he has yellow pads with point spreads and all that jazz. When THEY visited ME last, at one of Dallas' most elite restaurants, he won $500 on a game and bitched at us for buying a $70 bottle of wine. SIGH. I think he's a freak. But don't get any ideas...he doesn't give ME any money. NOPE! I can get dinner at the best place in town, get yelled at for it, and then that's about it. Just sharing the gambling stories. Let me put it this way: Super Bowl=approximate bet of 1200 plus dollars, point spread affects payoff or loss if he wins or loses - and usually he has tickets to SEE the damn thing. I personally have a hard time buying scratch-offs! I don't have the money personally to live on much besides sandwiches and soup. So buy some FREAKTHREADS!!! :) woohoo Why did I post this? Oh yeah, its almost 1 AM and I can't sleep. They could gain twenty, I could lose ten more (I lost ten since July!YEA Of course no one says anything, grrr) ok i could lose twenty more? then i would still be at least ----- pounds more than those chicks. LASIK! I talked about it a lot last year and I have wanted to do it since. Everyone here on the forums was supportive and shared their experiences having this procedure done. There are a lot of skydivers out there who have done it. My appointment is tomorrow (Friday) at 6 P.M. I am so excited!!
