Posting tonight after a very cool fire pit and pyrotechnic evening at Raeford Parachute Center, NC. We broke in the new fire pit with many frothy adult beveages and multiple firings of the new cannon. Many new initiates of the RPC family had a very fine time with some cockatillioes provided by our DZO Thacker and the rest of the monkey troop. We are most definitely not sucking in Raeford tonight! Bwaahhhahahaha! ROTFLMFAO!!!!! Gimp was hacked at LOTR Pt-1 for the same reason. Many movie go-ers giving strange looks to the one monkey laughing hysterically at the cussing monkey after teh lights came up. Still, samuri night meets spagetti western = cool movie. Yeah, the cannon is too big to tote around on the bike and after a couple test fires was found to be VERY loud and reather efficent at cutting down most everything in front of it. Emma, I just finished a three week walk about the midwest / southeast DZs last week. Not as long as your trip, but on a bike it was almost long enough to not want to come home. Check DZs in the area you're wanting to go thru for days they're open and things to do on the days they aren't. You'll never get bored on the road, but ya may get worn out if ya hit it hard so plan for a few recouperation days along the way. Not matter what happens while you're out, remember you're going to have fun (even if a hurricane seems to want to come to your house while you're on the road). Good luck with your plans and if you're in the Raeford area, come on by for a hot meal and glass o wine (or beer) and a soak in the hot tub... oh yeah, jump some too!
