    The Economist is a great poli-sci periodical. Similar to Foreign Affairs for good information on world events and global economy. Mostly essay type articles, but not so deep that anyone without a degree drowns in the text. Browse it over a cappuccino next time you’re in Barnes & Noble.     I used to live about an hour ride from the DZ. Used a large gear bag with shoulder straps and wore it. Did some touring riding last summer and strapped it to the back of the bike for the couple hour ride. Looked a bit like a gypsy wagon, but it worked.     Toss 'em out! Sometimes critters like to play, too. My folks lil weener-schnitzel loves playing in the stuff over it's head (admittedly not a difficult feat). Just be prepared to dry the gritter off once it's done frolicing (time variant upon the critter, .05 sec to hours).
