Yeah, was getting ready for jump run and put my Wrapper, interchangable lens, goggles on and marveled at how clear the new clear lenses were after changing out the tinted ones for the sunset load. Then one of the FF'rs poked me in the eye. Both lenses had fallen out and blew out the door when I put them on. Good thing the otter keeps a spare pair in the cockpit.

The bigest thing with buying gloves is that you can feel (and pull) all of your hackeys, pillows and rings without impediment. Next would be how much insulation you need for the weather conditions. Leather is great because it blocks wind and suede grips well. Tacified gloves give exceptional gripping and usually are thin enough to feel your way around. If you can, try the gloves on with your rig (might get some strange looks in a department store) or take a hackey in with you and tuck it in your back pocket and see if you can feel it through the gloves. If it feels good, go with it (just in regards to grabbing the hackey, other stuff might get even stranger looks... or a call from the cops). Personaly, I have summer and winter weight gloves and rarely jump without them (sand spurs in the Carolinas encourage protection for that off zone landing).

Streching before and AFTER helps considerably. You're usually just straining muscles you don't normally use that often. Try continuing streching over the week to get those muscles limberd up a bit more. Also, a good cardio work out will help pump the lactic acid out of your body faster. Copious volumes of beer also aids recovery

Lemme guess, finals week coming up. Need term papers fast. Spent too much time skydiving instead of studying. Know your priorities.... EFS!

Neumans are great in the winter (if you get the cold weather ones, otherwise the summer ones constrict your fingers and reduce bloodflow i.e. cold!) but I found a great pair of Isotoner off-brands at Walmart for about $10. Thinsulate lining and suede palm and finger grips made for easy RW and JM duties.

Hey Chuck, Got to Marks party a lil late if I missed ya. Had to go play 20km games this morning @0300. Vodka - Absoloute - from the freezer Scotch - Most any Single Malt will do (tho they tend to be $$) Ta-Kill-Ya - Don't touch the stuff if I can avoid it, but a friend in MX says there are several brands which are quite palatable. Whiskey- Makers mark is good, several good Irish brands, Gent Jack suits as a good domestic.
