Important Warning! I hate those hoax warnings, but this one is important! If someone comes to your front door saying they are conducting a survey and they ask you to take your clothes off, do not do it!!! This is a scam; they only want to see you naked. I had a guy that I work with ask me, "have you ever seen anyone bounce, HA HA HA" I WENT OFF, and had HE been a SHE, I definatley would have went to blows. i started barraging him with evil questions and he finally got he picture. He apologized and is coming out for a tandem in 2 weeks. ;) so I guess it worked out. I think you should say something to people the second that they say something outta line. I find that people respect me for it cause they always know where I stand. -and if you say something they hopefully will be more sensitive next time they think it would be a good idea to act/speak like a jackass.

My cypres expires next year I wonder if anyone has ever used an old cypress for a mini parachute on a space ball? hmmmm.....

funny one I saw "Silly faggot, dicks are for chicks" There was another one on the same car that referenced a big road construction project here in Denver called T-REX, i guess you would have to be a local to appreciate the humor but it said, "T-REX =Clusterphuckasaurus"

I know exactly what you mean! I was out for almost as long. The whole way up I was thinking, "WHY, O WHY am I doing this to myself? What am I doing here? Do I really want to do this to myself again?" But I promise you dude... As soon as you jump out that door, you will totally understand! After that first jump (after the break) when I landed I was so happy and full of adrenaline, I dropped to my knees from shaking, and I actually cried. The next plane ride on the way up all I could think of is, " Why, OH WHY did I stay away so long?"

OK, thanks for clearing that up. Do most people get extra? My SO says its unnecessary, but I some money would be nice if my arm get ripped off in my risers or somethin.

Forgive me, and send a link if this has already been discussed, but I got a letter from parachutist selling me AD&D insurance that covers skydiving. Does this mean that my insurance that come from just being a member is officially over?

OH GOD!! IS this the defination of being old?! I have lost so many friends! ENUF!!! A friend of mine recently commited suicide and he was the person who gave me one of my most favorite compliments ever. He told me that I had the most awsome balace between enjoying the moment and still considering the future. I thank skydiving for giving me that attitude. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE people, tell everyone you know that you love them. LOVE SO HARD!!! LIVE SO HARD!!! SKYDIVE SO HARD!!! -STOP THINKING SO MUCH!

OK. so I went to the chiropractor today for the first time. No complaints, just wanted to try. He does his back cracking thing, and then on the way home, I start sneezing uncontrolably almost get into an accident I was sneezing so much. Then as fast as it started it stopped. Then a got a HUGE headache, then when I got home I took the biggest poop I have ever taken in my life. And now I feel freaking awsome. This is probably the strangest thing that has ever happened to me. Can anyone explain?!! This can't possibly be normal.

Thats a great idea! Maybe I will head up to the DZ today and do that. That way it can fit right for my first jump on it! Thanks so much for the info guys. I feel sorta silly making a purchase like that with such limited knowledge.

Paid $1501.00 the main has 250 jumps on it, not sure about the rest. I am 5'7 130lbs. I did try it on and it felt sorta heavy but for the most part it was comfy! I couldn't get the leg straps very tight but I used to loosen then up under canopy anyway.

So there I was, minding my own business.... when all of a sudden, there it was, on EBAY, a pretty purple parachute. (thats about the extent of my eqpt knowledge) so I thought, "what the heck? I'll just make a bid! Somebody will definately outbid me on this, and I then can say that I have finally broke my proverbial EBAY cherry" Well, I won. Am now the proud new momma of a RWS Vector II V2.2 container, with PD 193 Seven Cell Main, Reserve Paraflight Swift Plus 175, Cypres, and Matching Gear Bag. -to my hubby, "uh, honey? We need to talk" so my question is, did I do good? I know its a litle big, but I don't have my A yet, I am not even current, and I'm not in any kind of hurry. Is there charasterics of a vector that I should be worried about? is this a horrible rig for a newbie? I have taken it to my rigger for the works, but those people barely know me anymore. Any info appreciated. P.S. From my very limited knowledge it looks to be in great shape. Very clean.

Ok this is dumb, but has anyone noticed in the Outkast song, "I like the way you move" there is a part in the beginning where he says.. drip drip drip, there goes an airgasm I love that! Makes me smile everytime I hear it!

I love dreaming about skydiving, even the bad ones! The other night I dreamed that a doctor gave me 3months to live and I was able to justify doing nothing but skydiving for the entire summer!
