    I'm no expert on the subject, so this is just MHO, but in Iraq there was a group of people ready to rally against Sadam. This helped with finding him. It seems that there is alot more people in AF who are happy to help OBL hide out in the caves of the country.

    IMHO that is the best way I've ever heard it described. I spent 3 years in England and got several oppertunities to bum around Europe for a couple weeks at a time. I got the chance to see both sides of the experance. For the few days that I was with a group of "ugly Americans", we got treated the way we deserved to get treated...with little respect. For all the time that I was on my own I used the limited non-English language skills I had (polite greetings, thank yous, directions, etc.), and I was warmly welcomed and treated great by 99% of the people I met. I don't know if those experances transfer over to the skydiving world, but I'd like to think we all react about the same...skydiver or not.

    Not only are a bunch of IRR being called up, but I know of officers that never "resigned" their commisions being called back after years of being out of the military. To answer the question...I don't see the draft coming back. Currently the Army is involved in the stop-loss, the IRRs, the callbacks, along with the Air Force is sending airmen to drive in conveys and training them in squad tactis along with the fact that the Army is currently paying Air Force and Navy people up to $10,000 to join the Army when they get out of their branch. Also, I've "heard" that some of the troops being pulled out of South Korea in the up-comming re-order of troops is to go to Iraq. Take all this info however you want to take it, but I don't expect the draft to come back...just IMHO.

    Got mine at my first air base 7 years ago. After everyone realized I'd already heard all the Lee Harvey jokes (last name's Oswald), my OIC called me Killer and it stuck.

    My Dad gets American Iron every month, and I'll read his copy every once in awhile when I go to visit.....I don't know much about bikes, but it seems pretty good to me. Good tech articles, and some AWESOME custom bike articles. They also cover the big rallies, but I'm not sure if they have a calender of up-coming events.

    For some reason I can't see other peoples avatars when I log in. If I go to the forums as a guest I can see them no problems. In my "display settings" I have "View other users' icons" set as yes. I've searched for both icon and avatar in the "Error and bug reports" forum but found nothing. I hope someone can help. Thanks. Also, I got no credit card, is there anyway I can still contribute to DZ.com? Thanks for the great site HH!!!

    For me the thing that makes that great is the fact that at the bottom of the auction, is there is a surf board standing quite erect...really fits with the whole scene that the seller is trying to sell ROFL.

    Sounds perfect to me...I'll be glad to start my training over there. Like I said FFFrog, it's going to be awhile before I get out there ( a couple months) if you ain't found someone else by then, just let me know, and the ride to the DZ is on me.

    I can't tell you where to jump, but within the next couple months I'm gonna be moving to the monteray area and I plan on starting to jump again, so just let me know where you're going and you got a ride (on the weekends and gov holidays at least). I know, not much help now, but hopefully it will be in the future.
