Thankyou Skymama that's very kind!! The DZ has been open at Swansea Airport since July 07, it's the only one in the Wales and fortunately we are next to the coast so the views over Swansea Bay are fantastic!! (I get to see where Catherine Zeta Jones lives everytime we go up!) We operate an Airvan which is a single engined piston aircraft that takes 8 skydivers and we alternate between tandem and skydiver loads. In Uk it seems the Australian built Airvan is very popular as it's single engine piston with 8 places plus pilot which is brilliant for a tandem based operation. Skydive Swansea the only DZ in Wales in the United Kingdom
