Liked C1, and loved C2.

Most incredible time. Was nice to meet people I haven't seen in a long time, and to meet new people. Great parties, and oh yeah, the jump was fun too. Thanks to Martin for getting my rig to me on time with last minute changes, Jason and all the staff, the people whose room I stumbled into and let me party with them. Hope I didn't piss you off too much TJ.

The only mod I had to make was to shorten the main closing loop a little, though keep in mind the 108 was crossbraced so it packs up a bit larger. (probably close to a 120 I would guess) -- Hook high, flare on time

If that was what you were asking, then I'd have to throw my vote out for a Wings. Mine was originally made for a 150-170 main, and I have downsized to a Xaos-21 108, and a Crossfire 2 129 with no problems at all. My main flap (and all others) stay secure 100% of the time. I'm picky about my gear, if I thought there was any problem with the combo, I would get a new rig. As it stands now I could probably downsize another size or two and the rig would still work well, and not give me any problems. -- Hook high, flare on time

Yup, we tried lining a runway with them at an unlit DZ, they are far too weak. -- Hook high, flare on time

Pimp-a-riffic Rebecca-bootie. Now get your ass out and learn to fly the snot out of that thing before I get back down. Which canopy did you end up using with that thing? Some guy said hi from you a few weeks ago. -- Hook high, flare on time

Did you happen to see a Royal Blue/White/yellow binding tape Perigee II while you were there? -- Hook high, flare on time

Stainless steel hardware,... is it really necessary?
Spy38W replied to SkydiveNFlorida's topic in Gear and Rigging
Oh, shit. Is that what they're all made of? Man, I didn't wanna have to spend the extra dough, but it's looking like it might be worth it now ** Oh, nice camera, btw. Pretty detailed stuff. Thanks for posting! BTW, my rig has spent most of its time in an air conditioned apartment in S.W. Florida. I got the standard b/c I didn't want to spend the extra money, and I liked the look of the standard. If I were to do it over again, I would get stainless except for the friction adapters (leg/chest strap hardware) Camera is a Sony P-100 (my first digital camera) taken in macro mode under flourescent light. -- Hook high, flare on time -
Stainless steel hardware,... is it really necessary?
Spy38W replied to SkydiveNFlorida's topic in Gear and Rigging
Is it necessary? I don't know. After having my rig for 2.5 years and 500 jumps this is what my three rings look like. You decide... (cadmium in picture) -- Hook high, flare on time -
Thanks Babelfish.

Yup, that be it.... ever since Chromeboy mentioned slow and low I have an urge to sing that on every reserve ride (I sing it a lot)

Anyone happen to know what size canopy it might hold?

I'm still a bit away from when I will be able to think about wingsuit BASE (probably more than a year), but was wondering a few things on setup/planning. I tried searching this forum, but didn't find anything, and BLiNC is being slow tonight. - What is the minimum altitude (in your opinion) that a wingsuit jump would be practical (getting inflation/decent flight) Slider up/down? PC size? Generally prefer a vented or unvented canopy, or does it vary on how low you wanna go? Anything else I might be forgetting. - From skydiving it seems that WS openings are inherently soft, but am interested to hear opinions. TIA -- Hook high, flare on time

Minor correction. And of course that only applies if you're under FAA jurisdiction. Another minor correction

Aerodyne looking for Opinions: What are the best dive loops.
Spy38W replied to aubsmell's topic in Gear and Rigging
Not sure of how possible this is, but what about using some tubular nylon, my thoughts are that it would be less bulky than the type 17, and if you pick a small enough size, shouldn't interfere with the slider coming down. Thoughts? -- Hook high, flare on time -
You don't know what you're talking about. Spy thinks I'm great. We're in the smashed pelvis club together. Yeah, you, Carrie, and Paige should probably have tried to pick some other trait about me to imitate. I said the drugs were good, but not THAT good. -- Hook high, flare on time

No - you'd be allowed in the country. You'd just be banned from driving golf-carts. But, I'm a good golf cart driver. Sunshine said so after she taught me how.

You talkin about me with this post?
