  1. I too had some problems getting Wings to look good at first. I'm still a very new rigger, but the school I work at has Wings rigs for student gear, and I own a Wings myself, so I've gotten a bit of practice, and found some techniques that work for me. The biggest trouble I have packing mine anymore is that the reserve container is a couple of sizes too big for my reserve. There are some tricks that I use to get it (and it is so easy now.) I'm not very good at explaining things, so I'll try to score a digital camera and take some pictures sometime in the next week. -- Hook high, flare on time

  3. Thanks much, that did the trick. And so quick too.
  4. Just tried to post an ad again, took me to the start page, so I did the whole kill cookies/restart thing. Still doesn't work. -- Hook high, flare on time
  5. I saw a new to the area's logbook today and thought it was very cool. Was wondering if anybody new where I might find Sward Sports logbooks in the US. Thanks in advance. -- Hook high, flare on time
  6. Very nice that somebody makes a comment to the company about a design feature, and within days a rep is looking for opinions to improve their product. On the subject, I have jumped Wings risers for most of my jumps, so my experience with different types is fairly limited. I like them because they are always open and easy to grab. I use two fingers, with my hand through the toggle to the bend between my index finger and thumb. -- Hook high, flare on time

  8. Dave, I was questioning the webbing mount vs. the metal bracket at first also, but after using it for 4 months, I'm convinced the webbing is far superior. Make sure you use the washers with it. Also, give the small o-ring mount a try, it is more comfortable, if you don't agree after some jumps, let me know and I'll send you one of the old style thick o-ring mounts. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with Alti-2's customer service, they are very quick, and extremely helpful. -- Hook high, flare on time

    Canopy Coloring...

I remember reading an article a few months ago about suggestions for a color scheme for canopies, while packing a skydiving reserve today, I noticed a color pattern that seemed pretty easy to keep track of, so I adopted it, and modified it (off color center rib) for an initial idea for my BJ. Any tips are appreciated. Edit: Colors are Royal Blue, Yellow, White -- Hook high, flare on time

  16. ...of course, they are all me, was wondering if it might not be too much work for it to display who the email is to, figure that would be more useful. I tried playing around in the options, but didn't see a way to do it. TIA -- Hook high, flare on time
  17. Hrm, mine works great. Low front riser pressure, but the rears aren't very effective compared to my main for some reason.
  18. If you order a BM bridle/PC from Sunrise you get an 87"er, you probably want to specify the length you desire. Great PC's though. -- Hook high, flare on time
  19. Hehe, this one time at college... Went out to a few bars with some friends, ended up back home with some girl who had been a friend until this night. Both of us were very intoxicated, stuff started to happen, but she was having a bit of trouble, uhm, well, so anyway I go to the kitchen to find some kind of oil, found some vegetable oil, figured all would be good, until she started screaming like all get out. Later found out the "vegetable oil" was actually vinegar. Oops.
