Hrm, does anybody think there might be a possible problem with DZ's that have skydivers landing on airport property? The article was vague as to what type of airports this was in reference to, but with all the paranoia about terrorists/aviation I wouldn't be entirely surprised if smaller airports (typically used by DZ's) were forced to keep track of/regulate people on the airside. Just a thought, I could be totally reading too much into it (I sure hope I am,) but if it is possible it seems like now would be the time to make sure our voice is heard through the USPA and then AOPA. -- Hook high, flare on time

Had a wierd thing happen today. I've washed my jumpsuit a bunch in the past using cold water/color safe Cheer and then air dry with no problems. Today a friend took it to give it a wash so I could send it back to the manufacturer to get my leg sewn back together. Got a call from the friend freaking out tonight saying that the colors bled (Royal Blue bled onto the White) after washing it in cold water with Tide. I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to fix it maybe, or if I was going to have to buy a new rig with Royal Blue/Black/Sky Blue to match my jumpsuit.

I have the TV on in the background and heard that annoying emergency alert tone, thinking it was a test, but then it said there was a tornado warning.. well, those messages usually never apply to me, so I sort of ignored it, got up and saw an f-ing massive tornado around 1 block away from me! Less than a minute later a friend who works in a nearby building called to see if I was ok (she works about 2 blocks the other way and can see the general direction that I live in.) Damn, too bad my gimpy self couldn't get to the video camera in time.. double payday from RealTV would be nice..
