"Alden said that he thought Petey was in Deer Park, WA, and that his California days were long past." Alden. Your brother lives just 125 miles from you. It is only a 2-1/2 hr drive. You can go and visit. Who knows how many years he's got left. Go see him before it's too late. Just because Dad was a shithead, doesn't mean you have to be.

In Petey's book, there's a copy of a bad job review he got at the end of his first vietnam stay. (it's fictionalized autobiographical. It's a very weird book. It ends with a parachute jump) When Alden says Petey got "kicked out" of vietnam ..it may be related to the last job he had there? Maybe he got fired/bad review/asked to leave? Don't know. The job review thing is interesting, because it ties in to the ignored-middle-manager theory Carr had...i.e. that he knew what was needed but people ignored him.

Bruce reported: “I’d take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt,” Alden advised. “I wouldn’t take him too seriously.” Every single fact Petey has claimed, that I've been able to crosscheck, has been true. (example: I can put him in China, and at Tiananmen Square around the massacre as he claims. I have first hand witness, with published account by same. Very credible source, related to Voice of America, with no personal or other relation to Petey, but ran into Petey and reported it) If Alden says anything is false, name it, and I'll verify. I think Alden doesn't know what he doesn't know. Does Alden know about Sheridan's claim to be playing with bat wings while jumping in the '60s. I found a description of what he was trying. Has Alden read Petey's book? What does Alden think of it? Is Alden impressed we can just reach out and find anyone? unless they're in South Africa, of course. Noelle, my belle. These are words that go together well, my Noelle. Noelle, my belle. Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble, tres bien ensemble. I love you, I love you, I love you. That's all I want to say. Until I find a way I will say the only words I know that you'll understand. Noelle, my belle. Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble, tres bien ensemble. I will say the only words I know that you'll understand, my Noelle

Bruce reported "Mary Jean didn’t know about the 1971 investigation of Petey prior to the interview, but Petey volunteered the information. " My understanding is they talked to the ex-wife in 1971, and she didn't know where he was. So how did Pete find out from the ex-wife that the FBI talked to her? He must have been in contact with the ex-wife at some point. Or maybe the kids? Or old friends? How come there are no old friends of Pete that remember him jumping in WA in the early '60s (at Issaquah for example) There is a confirmed jump log that has him jumping in Vietnam. So all his jump stories seem accurate. He didn't mention the night jump record (for the time, maybe just pacific area?) he helped set (claimed) while at Clark Air Base in the mid '60s? (I'm assuming it was altitude? it couldn't have been just for night 5-way at that point in time? unless area specific) (edit) Correction: claim "new record for Southeast Asia for the highest delayed freefall at night." 1965 with 4 other people. Maybe not a 5-way...maybe just night altitude. Although claim mentioned 4 others...so 5-way possible.

The picture of Mary Jean F. didn't get me worked up, but with a name like "Noelle Devereux" ..you know she's DZ material. Is that her porn actress name? We gotta find Noelle. uh, for investigative reasons, clearly.

[url]Nice job Bruce! Bruce said "Mary Jean said further that Petey “had a child in the Bay Area, either a son or a daughter.” Married twice. That may refer to daughter from 2nd marriage. First time in Montana. Divorced after move to WA. (divorce in '62, married in '56 I believe) believe 3 kids with first wife, (son at least, confirmed) 2nd wife was Filipina. She apparently died while visiting relatives in Phillipines in late '70s. They had two kids. boy/girl. Unclear what happened to boy. Girl still around. Petey has a younger brother who's appears available. Bruce has probable locator. Son from first marriage apparently available. Bruce has probable locator. (edit) Bruce said "Mary Jean said the interview was conducted in 2002 or 2003, she couldn’t recall exactly. “It was a long time ago.” If it was done when Petey was ~77, then 2002/2003 sounds about right for a date. I wonder if the tip came from the ex-wife. I think there may have been a family law case between the two in 2003 in Bakersfield. Maybe support payments? (edit) Bruce wrote "“and he loved talking about the case." So how come Petey won't talk to you more Bruce?

I didn't realize there is international paintball competition. Iran even has teams that compete. news at this site: http://www.javidanpaintball.com/home.asp "Thailand Paintball Championship (ITPC) The first annual International Thailand Paintball Championship (ITPC) in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 25th to 27th of August. The tournament is the second leg of the Paintball Asia League Series (PALS) and promises to be and event to remember with over 50 teams from around the world competing towards the Royal Cup donated by her majesty the Princess of Thailand and points towards the 5 man World Cup in Malaysia. Datis Paintball Team will go to Thailand from Iran." the best Iran team is called Datis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Msr2raNZCus from http://www.cctv.com/english/20070920/103030_2.shtml "There are around thirty paint ball teams professionally active in Iran and tournaments are held every year. Currently Iran 's greatest paint ball team is Datis, which has won all tournaments held in Iran since they began in 2005, as well as many championships held in Asia . Datis paintball team won the 2006 Taiwan International Paint ball Championship, 2006 Thailand Paint ball Asia League Series, 2006 World Cup Asia in Malaysia and 2007 Thailand Paintb all Asia League Series. Babak Esmaeili, a top player at team Datis, believes paint ball helped him forget about his age and problems of his daily life. Reza Badrian, the captain of team Datis, says paint ball helps him learn to control his stresses and that's why he enjoys the game. Iran has held annual paint ball tournaments since 2001 and each year the number of participating teams is rising. This year, there were about 30 teams in the tournament and Datis was once again the winner of the championship. Hamid Nickpour, Vice President of Iran's paintball association, which organises the annual tournament, believes paint ball has a bright future in Iran."

Or Snowmman needs to hit Jo up for a job? They drink from the same cup, so far as I can tell and both belong in rehab. I was thinking that if the planes are really that low over Jo's she should stand on the roof of her house with a shotgun. That will keep them away, or at least lead to an interesting discussion with police. My understanding is that 500' minimum clearance is required to people, and 1000' minimum over congested areas? What Jo needs is an air cannon. Take out any brush-by jets or helicopters. hey did you see the security forces in Iran are using paintball guns against protesters? ? Man, if you get marked, they probably later will come around and arrest you and you're screwed. I wonder if they're using Tom Kaye's gear? Next we're going to have predator's marking you with paintballs.

I believe I have precedence in all matters regarding Cooper, due to my president-for-life position in the CSG. I have withstood many legal challenges to that claim, paying many lawyers, and paying off even more in bribes. so when Jo asks "So give me one that shows the ACTUAL flight path per the radar and Northwest and whoever or whatever governs this stuff. " ...I say Snowmman Industries governs the flight path. Like I say to all new employees: "Okay, here's the deal, I'm not here to waste your time. Okay, I certainly hope you're not here to waste mine, so I'm gonna keep this short. Become an employee of this firm, you will make your first million within three years. Okay, I'm gonna repeat that, you will make a million dollars, within three years of your first day of employment at Snowmman Industries. There's no question as to whether you become a millionaire working here. The only question is, how many times over. You think I'm joking . . . I am not joking. I am a millionaire. It's a weird thing to hear, right? Let me tell ya, it's a weird thing to say: I am a fucking millionaire. And guess how old I am . . . 27, you know what that makes me here? A fucking senior citizen. This firm is entirely comprised of people your age, not mine. Lucky for me, I happen to be very fuckin' good at my job or I'd be out of one. You guys are the new blood. You are the future swinging dicks of this firm. Now you all look money hungry and that's good. Anybody who tells you that money is the root of all evil, doesn't fucking have any. They say money can't buy happiness. Look at the fucking smile on my face! Ear to ear baby! You want details, fine. I drive a Ferrari 355 Cabriolet . . . I have a ridiculous house at the South Fork. I have every toy you could possibly imagine. And best of all, I am liquid. So now you know what's possible, let me tell you what's required. You are required to work your fucking ass off at this firm. We want winners here, not pikers. A piker walks at the bell. A Piker asks how much vacation time you get in the first year. Vacation time? People come to work at this firm for one reason, to become filthy rich, that's it. We're not here to make friends, we're not saving the fucking manatees here guys. You want vacation time, go teach third grade at a public school." (edit) we did a video of our Cooper team http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvICN8DNMpY

remember how I thought Petey was weird, because he said the FBI took a DNA sample from him in regards to Cooperdom, and the number of people we've heard about that have had DNA taken is incredibly small. And I just really wanted to know what that was like..I mean hear from someone who the FBI thought was worth investigating...how it went down. Well, I'm been beating on the FBI for being bad investigators back in 1971, but I just got something, which is probably reliable (but could be faked, which would be even more curious if so).... I had known Petey had been divorced and remarried. Well apparently in 1971 the FBI visited the divorced ex-wife, looking for Petey, but she didn't have a clue where he was. (he was outside US at the time) So this is pretty interesting. They apparently finally found petey when he returned to the US recently (couple years back) But, it's an eye-opener for me. It's interesting to try to decode just how much Carr was telling us or not telling us. When 377 forwarded the name to Carr, Carr brushed it off saying "he was probably investigated". But man, There must have been reports with his name on it, from what this says. Enough so that his name popped up and triggered a home visit just a couple years back. How did that happen? Are the records computerized? Did someone read thru the files and remember a name? Is there a list of names of people the FBI is interested in, and they sweep the US occasionally or check on re-entry to country? I can't figure out how the FBI decided to talk to him a couple years back when he returned. I still can't figure out what Carr was doing at DZ.com. It makes no sense. I have no idea what to think of the FBI now.

We've talked about how training reserves (apparently the one in question) had panels sewn shut so they would be easier to deal with when training on the ground. For the same reason, were the lines ever daisy chained, so that it would be fast to repack while training? How fast did people repack reserves while training back in the late '60s? how many times did you have to practice with it? (edit) ok I guess I'm showing my ignorance. I found this on field packing. Would it have been likely that the training reserve Cooper got, had daisy chained lines, if it had been used for training? do people still do this after landing? Field Packing the Canopy - Congratulations!! You've just made your first skydive. After you get done jumping up and down and hollering "WAHOOO!" We'll need that parachute back for the next student's first skydive experience. If your canopy lands on top of you, try not to walk through the lines. This makes repacking the parachute difficult. When the parachute collapses on you, stay still and pick the lines straight up and off of you. Then move away from the parachute to straighten out the lines again and gather it up. Once the lines are straightened you can 'daisy-chain' them. Daisy-chaining keeps the lines in order and will help you to get the parachute back to the packing area. This is done by making a loop with the lines, reach inside the loop, grab more lines past the loop and pull the lines through the loop to make a new loop. Continue this process until you reach the canopy and then pull the slider through the last loop to hold it in place. Daisy-chaining is best learned by watching your instructor perform this process and then practice it yourself. Is the idea that you can stuff the canopy back in the rig with the lines like this? Did that work for the belly reserves?

hangdiver mentions "I once bought an old Ford van for work, that in another life was used to smuggle contraband in a false floor. I bought it from a guy who taught me to Hang Glide, a practicing Wizard/Satan worshiper." See this is a perfect example of why you can't compete with skydivers telling stories. I like how you take care to point out "in another life"...if Orange1 reads it carefully, "in another life" apparently refers to the van. But if you read "in another life" as a reference to hangdiver, interesting possibilities emerge....

That's weird. When I pick up their GFs at home while they're out jumping, the GF's always say they don't go to the DZ cuz it's boring...

getting close. starting to feel like real work though. I'm also having my doubts about the 666 prophecy. My interpretation was that if 377 posts first, that Cooper himself will appear as the last poster on page 666. But now the fireball and associated prophecies have gotten me all confused. What if the prophecy is wrong? What if Cooper doesn't appear? I guess all cults have this problem...Do we bunker up and wait for the FBI?

Jo said " but I assure the actual flight pattern is forthcoming in the near future. " That would be good. How? Jo said "If I had known then what I know now" What do you know now? I can't see that anything identifies the flight path more than the radar map? Am I missing something? If people want to ignore that map, then there's nothing that identifies the flight path to any degree of accuracy.

from above "The band Deep Purple witnessed the event and wrote about it in their song "Smoke on the Water," released on their 1972 LP Machine Head" The last track on the album is "Space Truckin'" The tracks: Highway Star Maybe I'm A Leo Pictures Of Home Never Before Smoke On The Water Lazy Space Truckin' There is an odd reference to a fireball We had a lot of luck on Venus We always had a ball on Mars Meeting all the groovey people We've rocked the Milky Way so far We danced around with Borealice We're space truckin' round the the stars Come on let's go Space Truckin' Remember when we did the moonshot And Pony Trekker led the way We'd move to the Canaveral moonstop And everynaut would dance and sway We got music in our solar system We're space truckin' round the stars Come on let's go Space Truckin' The fireball that we rode was moving But now we've got a new machine Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah the freaks said Man those cats can really swing They got music in their solar system They've rocked around the Milky Way They dance around the Borealice They're Space Truckin' everyday Come on from http://www.oldielyrics.com/lyrics/deep_purple/space_truckin.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flare_gun Note this happened only 10 days after Duane hijacked 305. Could Duane have been at the Zappa concert in Switzerland? Or was hangdiver there? And if so, why?. Note the band's name "Mothers of Invention" eerily recalls the patents associated with the air pneumatic devices we discussed. "On December 4, 1971 at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland an audience member ("some stupid with a flare gun") fired a flare during a performance by Frank Zappa and his band, the Mothers of Invention. The flare ignited the ceiling of the entertainment complex of the Montreux Casino at Lake Geneva. Zappa shouted "Fire!" but initially the audience thought it was all part of the show. The resulting fire burned down the entire casino. Was this the incident that hangdiver was discussing, when someone fired a flare and lit a chair on fire? The band Deep Purple witnessed the event and wrote about it in their song "Smoke on the Water," released on their 1972 LP Machine Head"

"...And Duane shall have manifested himself, a star shall come forth from the East variegated in hue and shining brilliantly, and seven other stars shall surround it and make war on it from all sides, three times a day for seventy days, before the eyes of the whole world. The one star shall fight against the seven with rays of fire flashing on every side, and it shall smite them until they are extinguished' (Zohar 3:7b, 8a). I'm thinking this paragraph prophesied the fireball that would announce Duane's arrival, and that it's brightness made the anti-collision lights on the plane (the other stars) unnoticeable. (edit) and Flight 305 did originate from the East.

wow good story. And we worry about terrorists and planes. The terrorists are in the cockpit! All relevant 727 evidence is destroyed, POOFED. That's just the way it is. Jo was right. 377

Yes, they were visible at those distances but nowhere near as bright or attention getting as pulsed gas discharge strobes. They were like the old rotating cop car lights, but smaller. 377 single lights in the middle of dark are amazingly noticeable. no stars because of the clouds that night? (edit) I think it's just simple to ask the witness what other lights they saw that night. If they say "none" then they're full of shit. That's the point. That there were other lights and the witness should be able to i.d. those, and say the fireball was something else, in addition to those lights. And if they identify the other lights wrong, they're full of it also.

377 incorrectly said "An ignited road flare tossed out the ventral door of a 727 would not significantly illuminate the plane in my opinion. Those sulphur based road flares arent all that bright either. I think it would look like a red point source if seen from thousands of feet away... more like a Christmas tree light than a "brightly glowing red object." There was a well known UFO hoax recently where some kids (they videoed the launch and revealed it after the UFO sightings made the news) they tied road flares to weather ballons and let them go up in the sky at night. Very impressive. Lots of UFO calls. I'll find the link (edit) It was the Morristown UFO event http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morristown_UFO_hoax video of the hoax setup here http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=9022371226156483716# video of the launch here (nice if you just want to see the night launch..!) http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=8751090888158148535# (edit) It was just last year, Monday, January 5, 2009, between 8:15 pm and 9:00 pm.

377 said "I don't think the alleged witness description matches what you'd see if looking at that light from thousands of feet away." So you're saying that anti-collision lights only worked when you about to plow into the plane and said "ah shit!" What distance were they supposed to be visible at? I thought they were more than just ground anti-collision? (because they had them on in the air) Wouldn't they be visible at a couple miles?
-
I was thinking we could mix a couple of expertises here. Tom Kaye has the experience of how to make an air cannon device into an automatic..i.e. AutoMag paintball guns. Same issue. Just need to scale it up to larger diameter projectiles, larger air tanks. Then, mount like 20 of them on each wing of a 727. Then, change the projectile to be t-shirts. So then airtwardo does a skydiving demo, followed by the 727 which does a strafing run of thousands of t-shirts into the crowd. Hmm..maybe airtwardo can jump out of the back of the 727 while that's happening..Except marketing says we have to put a cannon out of the back of the plane, and claim airtwardo gets shot out of the plane like a human cannonball. You know the guy who has the record for the human cannonball (like 150'..going 70 mph estimated)...he's still doing it, saw a video of him on youtube being shot out, and he's 66. Maybe airtwardo can do a ground demo. You get shot out of a cannon to maybe 300' vertical, and then deploy in time to land? Can that be done? Can you do it wearing a captain america outfit? Or a DB Cooper outfit? It would allow indoor skydiving demos in stadiums with closed roofs. Plus you could have cheerleader girls around the cannon and smoke and stuff.
-
Couldn't this description be consistent with a ground launched rocket flare? I don't see why it necessarily came from the plane. The claimed illumination of the plane from below sounds a lot more like what you'd see from a ground launched flare. They make some pretty big ones for commercial marine use. Some have small parachutes that extend their time in the air. The attempted suppression/intimidation of the witnesses makes no sense to me. 377 I think it was more likely the rotating red anti-collision lights on 727s (don't know about other planes) in use back then. If I was talking to the witness, I would ask if they also saw red or white anti-collision lights. The only correct answer would be red-rotating for 727 then. If they said white, or blinking or none, then they'd be wrong. (727 switched later) In fog, clouds, low...the anti-collision lights were probably on (aren't they usually on all the time nowadays?). Heck, in the clouds, low over PDX, maybe they flipped on their landing lights so others could see them? Before you go down the flare path, you have to eliminate the most likely thing: misinterpretation of other red lights that were guaranteed to be in the sky that night. Isn't that obvious? How come no one jumped on that when I posted about the 727 anti-collision lights (red-rotating in 1971) 727 trivia: Apparently all the switches on the overhead panel on a 727 were forward ON, and backward OFF. But TWA 727s had the switches reversed: forward OFF. verification here: http://www.google.com/search?q=twa+727+switches+reversed&rls=com.microsoft:*&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1 What kind of fool at TWA thought that made sense? (to be different) Pilots always got confused, i.e. "BTW...Did you know that the old TWA 727s that I've flown all have the cockpit switches reversed...opposite of the way Boeing had them? TWA actually called Boeing and all the switches in the cockpit are all "up for on, down for off" even if that wasn't the way they were designed. It's frigging crazy when we are cleared for landing...we're always turning all the lights off and then having to turn them back on...the habit of pushing all the switches forward...or "down"...freaking TWA..."
