    So i'll be staying in San Francisco with the family for a few months and want to get as many jumps as i can in before winter. That being said, is it worth the drive out to Lodi for cheap jumps or do i just take the sort drive to Bay Area Skydive? I'm not planning to stay for weekends if i can help it as we only have one car. I'm relatively experienced jumper but i'm a little un-current at the moment.     everyone should know how to stall their canopy and recover... with risers and toggles!!!! first thing people do is panic and release EVERYTHING.... big mistake, slow and controlled is the key!!! if you have never stalled your canopy you dont really know how it flies under EVERY condition *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED...     Did 3 hrs in 3 days at iFly Singapore. It was an amazing experience but i definatly wont be doing that again. 2days in a row is enough. by the 3rd day i wasn't learning as much as i wanted to.     Haha true :p I'm here till Sunday - come say hi I just did my first hour in singas today (I went back on me saying I wouldn't go there). It's not a bad operation and Kris is a great coach. I managed to get rock solid on my back and started sit. Amongst other things. It's not cheap For the cost of 3 hrs and coach here. On top of flights and accommodation. Im glad I did it as I'm off to eloy end of next month for 7 hrs. 2013 a year of the tunnel :p *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*

    The only diving you can't wear ear plugs of underwater diving :p I'm a commercial diver and I had a dumb ass student wear ear plugs on a dive and didn't tell anyone he was.... Lets just say, that's the last dive he will ever do :/ *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*

    nah, it's too big... as a new skydiver you want to get a canopy thats smaller and easier to pack. my suggestion woulf be at least a sub 120sqft possibaly a katana? you'll love that canopy and really enjoy the thrill of landing it!
