I think the bungee-cutaway sounds like it could be fun, but I really don't feel the need to do any of that. I don't really think there is any freefall--since you still have the ambilical (sp?)cord attached. LET IT GO!!!

Sorry to hear about your loss, but I believe it is a blessing that you could be with him at the end. As far as jumping goes---keep your head up! I can feel your frustration through the wires. All in good time, my friend...all in good time.

uh, so I went to sleep last night and dreamt that I had a malfunction from the way I packed my pilot chute (it just wouldn't open) and my chute took FOREVER to come out, but I had pulled at 900 ft, so the cypress had already fired... All I can say was that it was wierd. It was a perfect landing, but I think I will repack my rig. The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP.

why...thank you! The day is even better because I wasn't even supposed to be able to jump today due to crappy weather, but it held out until I got out of work! I think I am a bit overly excited about this day.

BEER! I just got back from the dz, where I jumped my own pack job for the FIRST time! I don't think I have ever chucked my pilot chute out so hard (I really wanted to make sure things went well). I got a whole bunch of shit when I got down because it was my first. Hmm.. I think I am up to about 7 or 8 cases I owe.. I wish I wasn't poor, perhaps I could afford better than the beast or nati light. So, I guess I am just really excited and I wanted to share it with you all! I sure hope it opens next time!

Last week I had a dream that two out of three of my brothers died--in a car crash. It was freakish. I kept saying, this has to be a dream. Then, I would wake up(or so I thought) and ask if I was dreaming or if they really died. THis kept on happening. Probably about 3 or 4 times. It was so frustrating. I woke up crying and got up to make sure I was actually awake. My brothers were thankfully alive and healty.

geez..I had my exams, week break, and already started my summer class. I found out that all that stress from winter semester kind of paid off. I ended up with a 3.45. That is mucho better than I thought. Hey, only five and a half weeks left in this summer class. whew hew! The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP.

don't forget to add how close-knit a dz can be. I think it is a different connection than any other sport. good friends, good times. The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP.

this is a tough one, but I have to say the jumping is more important to me. This could be because I haven't been at my dz that long. still a newbie, but I love the people already! At this point, I don't know everyone. That will surely change this summer, but jumping is what brings us all together. There would be no social "connection" with out the bond of jumping together. They go hand in hand.
