  1. Is it just me, or does everyone pretty much agree that the Birdman versions of the wingsuit is by far, much superior? I am very curious to hear from someone that has flown both and get a real good comparison discussion going. To look at all the suits out there, it just seems that Birdman has put a lot more thought into the whole process, but then again, I may be impartial! Thoughts? 2. I am going to second that motion!!! BRAVO!!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  3. Hey Mark, you might as well start putting back money now, everyone that comes on this forum is going to know the outcome. You WILL want one, might want to consider waiting till you have some money to fly one, Ha Ha.. "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  4. Hey Mark, I just realized who you were, sorry. Anyway, you will definitely fit in the skyflyer that I have, so you are in there. Try to encourage some more bloats from your area to attend as well. "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  5. This is definitely GOING to happen, we are shooting for either the last weekend in March or the first weekend in April. I'm going to get everyone's input and try my hardest to correspond with the best weekend. AND I am sure that Chuck will be bringing the stash of suits, and if not, you are welcome to use mine if it will fit. Keep your eyes on this topic and the one on "www.flybirdman.com" and you will all be kept in tune with the stuff, man. 10. Killer stuff man, I can only envy you from a distance for I only have a skyflyer and no pants and some cold ass weather to go with it... Sucks to be me! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  11. Only have 72 as of right now, and freakin' winter has set in. (*Have problems wearing gloves with B-man. actually, I am not comfortable with deployments with gloves) But, I am hoping, (*And aspiring) to become the only BMI in Alabama. Hey Chuck, was wondering what the criteria is for that? Enlighten me, oh great one! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  12. I may be wrong or misinterpreted the rigger at Wings, but the mod on the container basically is that you cut the binding tape seam down the bottom of the main pack tray. If there is something else different than this, please let me know. for I am tired of spinners!!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  13. When the canopy came out, it was twisted up immediately, I was at 5,000 feet, so I took the time to go ahead and unzip the arms. I got the arms free, tried to fix the problem, couldn't, so I chopped at 3,500 feet. Was relatively uneventful and fun at the same time!!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  14. To be completely honest with ya, I didn't know about the mod until just recently. I got my new container in the end of September and was jumping a Cobalt then, never really had problems with spinners until the Stiletto. I had laid off the Birdman suit for a while due to not having anyone to fly with. I did however, talk to the senior rigger at Wings and he explained to me what to do with the container and it IS easy to do. I have it done already, now if I just had a rig with a reserve packed up!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  15. Hey bigG, I just posted about my Mal I had Sunday, November 9th. It was a spinner on a Stiletto 97. I am thinking that it was the lack of "Dynamic Corners" as Chuck put it. Going to do some Mods and see if that solves anything. But I AM thinking seriously of switching to Sabre for B-manin'... I never did have a problem out of the Sabre aside from a hard opening every now and then. "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  16. Well, yesterday I had my first malfunction with the Birdman suit. So with that said, I will go ahead and tell everyone about it as there might be a lesson learned or something from it. I jump a Stiletto 97 with a Wings EXT container without the Birdman Mods but I do have a long bridle! The jump was beautiful. I went out with a friend of mine that just got his S3 in and made his very first B-man jump. (*Don't ask why he got the S3 to start, we have stopped trying to figure this guy out) I went out first and he followed. He actually did really well on the exit from a King Air, but was severely unstable after that. Well, I got down to 5,500 and clicked my heels to signal deployment. (*I only have about 60 jumps on a wingsuit so I am still opening high) It was probably the most stable I have been on a deployment, but for some reason, my Stiletto came out with several line twist and begun to spin me like a top. I knew that I had plenty of time to deal with the problem so I unzipped my arm wings and attempted to kick out of the twist. There was no way in hell that I was going to kick out of them so I had to chop it. The cutaway was very uneventful even with a very unstable reserve deployment. (*Thank you Tempo) I am not sure what caused the spinner, if it was the tight pack tray of the EXT or what, but I do know that it happened very quickly. I am also very happy that I stuck to my grounds of deploying high with the Birdman in order to have plenty of time to deal with a Mal. It was no big deal aside from having to come up with the money to get the reserve repacked that I just had put in this container. Hopefully this served as a good lesson for someone out there! Any comments/suggestions/questions are welcome! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  17. Wow, double mis-interpretation!!! Sorry, I didn't mean anything either. Could it be possible that we (*You and I) are way to sensitive? Ha Ha. I am just trying to limit the "Sexual Innuendo's"! Hope I am doing a good job. And Yes, I am trying my best to be safe. Thanks! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  18. Well, thanks so much for "Speaking for the rest of the group!!! " that means a lot to me.. *SOB!!! As for the "Forewarning", I was absent that hour! Sorry. My mind was elsewhere! I beg for your forgiveness and am forever in your debt until tomorrow! Peace, Out!!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  19. For those of you that care, my name was listed as one of the participants in the state record, when in fact, I was merely the camera guy!!! Hmmm, you know, If I didn't say anything, I could have received my "Toadsucker" status!!! Damn, I am such a dork. Just kidding. Thanks for the listing though, but I can't take credit for being in the stack, I was JUST THE CAMERA DUDE!!!! Still had fun though getting pelted with ice with no goggles on!!! Ok, I am a real bad dork!!! Cheers out to the "Real Participants"... "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  20. Man, all that and I didn't even qualify!! What a bummer.... Thanks Nina, for clearing all that up. Might have to come to Thomaston someday soon! Cheers!!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"

  23. WHOA, Now I am really confused. I think I shall just stick to Freeflying and Birdman for now.. Phew, I had no idea it would have gotten that complicated. I am not about amphibians... Ha Ha... To those that thought they got their feelings hurt, (*You know who you are) I didn't mean anything by all of this, just trying to have some fun... Peace, Out "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  24. Ah man, I was waiting for that reply!!!! Ok, how many of the women do I have to do? HA HA! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
  25. Definitely know that I don't want to venture into the S3 area yet. Going to try and master this beast first! Thanks for the advise. I was doing really well with it until I got into a wicked cross wind a hell of a long ways from the DZ. Aside from stopping to deploy in order to let the shit run out a little better, I just fought it until regular pull time and managed to have somewhat of an ordinary pull. But you could not have drove a needle in my butt with a freakin' sledgehammer!!! SHEEEESSSSEE!!!! "Sure, those Golf Carts may look all warm and fuzzy, but they WILL take a chunk out of your ass!"
