Something just doesn't sound right about this. Maybe his motives are pure, but that kind of interaction with a patient under the circumstances you describe sounds inappropriate.

Too damn bad. I loved his books. The Great Train Robbery was unheralded, but a really good read. I think Timeline was one of my favorites.
