Lol well we have to take into account variable change, which was brought up in the movie. So first we have a 33% chance of getting the good one and 66% chance of getting a double mal. We pick "A" Now its told to us that "B" (or whichever has a mal) so that eleminates one. Now most would think we now have a 50/50 chance of getting the right rig, but take into account variable change..... So rig "A" still only has a 33% of being right because we picked that out of the orignial 3, "B" and "C" collectivally have a 66% chance of having the good opening. Since B has been eliminated, "C" now has the 66% chance of being good due to variable change. Rigging d-bag plus retractable pilot chute?
LaRusic replied to pchapman's topic in Canopy Relative Work
Hey Pete, this is how it was explained to me by some of the canadian crw record guys up here in arnprior and this is how my lightning is set up with the dbag and retractable bridle. #8 grommet so you can see the 3 rings of the retractable, this way you can see and keep the nylon from getting pinched by the rings.....I was not so careful on one of my lightning packjobs this summer and put a nice burn on the topskin. nothing a little ripstop tape couldnt fix but lets be honest, who really wants burns on their canopy The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10 -

by the time i finished my airborne jump course my shoulders were purple we had 2 americans on my course get their canadian wings, one was an instructor sgt 1st class that made a few jumps into the snow with us, the other was a private. 2 weeks of absolute shyite to jump turbo low on a parachute made to get you to the ground fast enough but without killing you.... good on ya! tough course. btw, tips on landing with full gear, close ur eyes, chin to the chest and go limp, the lands are worse then in the swings lol The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

anyone give that new beer a try, the 32% stuff tactical nuclear penguin i gotta get my hands on some of that stuff haha oh and on beer 8, still early :D The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

Well i have a few from times in PAT platoon waiting to do my ql3 course after basic. I learned that a C02 fire extinguisher will chill a case of beer in about 30 seconds. the cord on a washing machine is not strong enough to support it while hanging it out the window of the 3rd floor laundry room, nor is cord on the dryer strong enough to do the same thing. The monday morning after a "train" is broken up is 100 times worse when it is the sgt maj's daughter. Artillery simulators will bring the MPs to the shacks pretty quickly when set off under someones car. And smoke grenades do a shit load of damage when put in someones car The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

Thanks Paul Yeah it sure is bondo, nice and easy to work with. Like what paul was saying, there is a guy we jump with that has done this exact same thing, both for a stills SLR (he even made a support for the lens itself) and the CX100. Its fun to build new stuff The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

143, that was guessing at the number sequences that i couldnt be bothered to think about The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10 -
Here they are paul, the top is a metal plate that i sized, cut, and smoothed out to fit the bottom of the camera, I then cut a small hole for the velcro strap that holds the viewer closed. I then inserted a locating pin to keep the camera from turing about the camera screw. the bottom is filler shaped to my helmet, there is however direct contact of the metal plate to the helmet, the filler is just for stability, as Paul said, i took the idea of a video flyer at our DZ, and it works great for him. Once i had the camera centered and FOV centered to about 10ft away, i drilled the helmet holes and then painted the whole thing black. So today i got bored at work today, 12 hour days while on exercise, i work at maintenance for the army, lots of access to tools, materials and such....so i decided to build a camera helmet from my M1 that i dont use anymore Here are the results, not bad for a first go i think, but open to comments for improvment Also, i know i dont have the jump numbers to fly camera yet, i dont plan on flying this, until i have the numbers, this will come skiing or any other thing i can think of to get the bugs worked out. Like i said, bored at work lol The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

MSI and asus laptops are good, a lot better then some of the other brand names like toshiba (overheats a lot) and sony (got a shopping list of stuff i dont like about my sony) Big thing to remember is processor speed is only one piece of the puzzle that determins power and speed, another thing to consider is FSB speed, ram size and latency, vid card, and hd (im sure there is more but cant think of anything) Unfortunatly laptops arent nicely upgradeable like desktops, but im sure you would be happy with an MSI with windows 7 or XP (i tend to avoid vista unless its the 64 bit version) Im doing video editing from a CX12 on a sony laptop with an old p4 processor and have no problems, just doesnt go as fast as my desktop which ive built The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

I agree, i like to use mac code filtering and dont brodcast the ssid. also, a lot of north american isp's throttle their internet, so it gets slow at peak hours, apparently this is to combat p2p sharing programs The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

Running windows 7 64 bit version, its very stable and runs everything i have great. If vista is running stable for you, you may not notice a huge difference but it is there. Benchmarks are higher with windows 7 then with vista or xp. Install took about 10 min and really no imput from me and pretty well had all of the drivers i needed pre loaded, as opposed to sitting for 30 with xp, then messing around with drivers disks (by the way, everyone can buy the upgrade version, there is a nice little workaround that lets u install windows 7 even if you dont have xp or vista) The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10
